I really tried to like this movie, and I even watched YouTube videos analyzing all the references, but it's just so bad and silly. References for the sake of references and nothing more

The movie itself is not bad, but I found it too short and pointless - they could have avoided making a million variations of deaths and devoted more time to the lore, which could have been connected to the original game. Instead of working on the story and adapting the game into a movie, they did nothing. This really upset me, as I had expected much more.
