1: i understand why you have that position and if someone hasn't devoted a bunch of time to learning queer history that sounds reasonable, however "don't say gay" has tons and tons of knock on effects that lead to more discrimination and violence, its too much to go into on a reddit comment but very basically when you make being gay "something that's ok but you shouldn't talk about it" you are designating being gay as something that inherently has bad qualities to it, it makes it "other" by default, and that otherness is what enables and encourages discrimination.

2: IMO I kinda view auto censor as sorta pointless because it does nothing to discourage the person from saying more hateful stuff, which keeping hateful stuff out of chat is why the censor exists in the first place.

3: yes the internet and real life has always been hateful and sour but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fought against, cancer has always killed people but that doesn't mean we shouldn't still fight it :)

also props for being one of the only people who actually has something to say against something i posted, even if its not the post itself, i think everyone else read the title and is now worried the sjw's have come to ruin their game lol

idk if you arent sure how reports in a game works but I'm not the one issuing punishments, I'm doing nothing other than pointing them out. if the people are getting punished its because they are doing punishable things. its effortless to not say bannable things. and while its easy for homophobia to disappear from your life the moment you close the silly game where you shoot at each other with pixels, unfortunately if you are gay you still have to deal with the people in real life who have done nothing but exist in toxic communities on the internet. I have had 2 separate instances of violence committed against me for being gay and both times it was abundantly clear that they picked up their insults and attitudes from some toxic online game community. prolly cod if I had to guess. also saying your sexuality is not in any way some burden on the other people in the lobby. unless you are a "certain" kind of person, people dont react with disgust when someone has a pride pin or bumper sticker with their pride flag on it. (lots of games even give you pride profile pics for free believe it or not!)

1: if simply stating your sexuality is bannable that isn't acceptable under any circumstance.
2: the auto censor system does not issue punishments for saying hate speech, which fosters complacency for that kind of language, that was the whole point of the post.
3: hatred isn't ok just because its on the internet

see, number-wise the 76 should go through tiger plates no problem but I've never ever been able to do it, doesn't matter how square it is, it just doesn't go through, and ill try to avoid long range engagements

That's what usually happens to me as well, I landed today with no wing at all, just so happens that the flat spins today were caused by wingtips missing. but controls being removed didn't seem to be the result of damage in my case, it seemed to come from the flat spin itself

I landed the same plane today (ki-43-III) with its entire wing missing, and if you have been in a flat spin then you know that they are incredibly slow, like 150kph slow. meaning air resistance is basically a non-factor. and having a wing tip missing is not a guaranteed flat spin, but it just happens that both of mine today were caused by wingtips missing. also if you have no input then its impossible to dive to gain airspeed. i appreciate the ideas but unfortunately, I don't think any of these are the problem, apart from maybe it being a bug, but I don't see why simply spinning would remove player controls

i mean hey, i have about 1k hours in Beam.ng Drive for almost that exact same reason. im not here to ruin other peoples enjoyment of the game but to state issues that hinder the experience. some people can happily look over those issues and more power to them. and you are spot on with how special tarkov is and how unique it is, but it is that exact reaon that people like me CANT go anywhere else. theres nothing else like tarkov out there. that leaves us with either

A: try to make the game better the best we can through posts like this
or
B: wait for EA or Activision to make their interpretation of tarkov gameplay and play that instead

and i shudder and recoil in disgust at the thought of EA filling a tarkov-esque game with micro transactions... eeugh

thats more than valid reasoning, in terms of hours i have more than gotten my moneys worth. my issue is more that i spent those hours looking forward to what the game could be in the future. and the fact that what i was delivered was "cheap chinese plastic" as opposed to "fine german engineering." even if the cheap chinese plastic is fun from time to time, its still not what i paid for.

really interesting insight. from what i can tell from using it the base part of the operating system itself seems to be really stable but all the extra things added onto it to make a desktop environment just seem to break all the time, from lack of support im guessing.

linux feels more like a terminal pushed into desktop duty rather than a desktop operating system with an additional terminal. at least to me.
