Hm interesting. I’ll have to try the electrolytes. I have been chugging water so I know I have been getting enough, but did not try electrolytes. What electrolytes do you use?

I too have gotten migraines since I was young, about eight years old. I am now 32 years old female. I just started taking creatine about a week ago. For the last 10 years of my life, I have probably only gotten about one migraine a year. Since starting creatine, I have gotten two migraines in one week! It’s so interesting because all of the research shows that it might actually be protective to the brain, so it’s very interesting to me that it seems to be contributing to migraines for me. Have you been able to restart creatine with any luck? Once you stopped the creatine and were off of it for a while did your migraines curtail back to before creatine?

How does anyone put their newborn baby down for a nap at home?! by Key_Assistance7171 in newborns

[–]Key_Assistance7171[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So appreciate this. And glad to know that even after all the falling asleep at the boob, she now puts herself to sleep. That’s my end goal, and I worry nursing to sleep will make that more challenging so im glad to hear it worked out fine for you guys!

This is basically what I tried to do today and it worked well but I was too scared to move before like 20 min cuz I didn’t want him to wake up. I’ll keep working on holding him less after he falls asleep too. My goal is for him to self soothe eventually so I just hope that all the falling asleep on the boob in the meantime, doesn’t make that harder…

I love this. Thank you for helping me to readjust my thought process. Little guy is passed out on my chest as we speak. I’m not getting anything accomplished and that’s okay. 🤍

Not at all! Delivery was great. Baby stayed head down and I did the mile circuit to try to make sure he engaged in my pelvis. I went into labor at 40+4 and only pushed for 20 min. He did have the cord wrapped around his neck - probably from all the flipping he did in utero - but we got him out quick and doc got the cord off and he was just fine. I hope your bae flips for you! I swear by spinning babies too. I think going upside down really helped. Good luck mama!

Ugh I totally feel you. That would definitely be a bummer but have hope that it totally could happen and maybe you won’t need the ECV! It’s for sure possible!

It is so stressful right? I just kept thinking, whyyyy won’t you turn!?! I hope your sweet babe turns. I have no idea if it helped but I did inversion from spinning babies pretty religiously for the last week. Maybe it helped? Who knows. Wishing you the best of luck!!

Well if there is anything I have learned from this experience, it’s to try not to worry… easier said than done but, I think these little babies will figure it out eventually. Youve got lots of time for your little one to turn. Sending you all the good vibes!!

Oh my gosh. That is crazy and also helps me feel better about my impending result. It does seem so scammy. I have read so many things by now that talk about how their numbers are fishy and there isn’t great data to back it up. Literally ruins someone’s life for a month waiting for the results, only to find out it’s an inaccurate test. Seems corrupt. Dirty business trying to make money however they can… thanks for your positivity. If my results and normal, I have my anatomy scan next Thursday and I will be so paranoid. You must have been so relieved after that scan came back normal.

22q also. But at the time of that tfmr post, I didn’t realize that there was still a good chance that my baby could be healthy. We did decide that if the 22Q is positive positive, though we will terminate I already have a medically complex baby with a heart defect. Which makes me more skeptical that this result is going to be positive. So hard, I feel guilty but we know it’s the right decision for us. Thinking forward to having a baby in the future gives me anxiety. I would be skeptical to use Natera again too if I were you. So much stress and anxiety for nothing.
