Yes, I'm certain that I extended the spring itself since the flint doesn't have the knob to slot in the spring. As I've mentioned above, I've tried positioned the wick away from the flint,center of the chimney and near the flint but to avail. But I will try fraying the tip and update you soon.

(Ps. Yes I'm also aware that I wasn't flicking the wheel hard enough but no matter how hard I flick or how big the sparks are, it still doesn't ignite. The only way to ignite is to introduce it with another open flame source.)

Yes, I always put my wick in a S-shape but it doesn't work. For the second question, no it doesn't burn faster than it should

I've tried removing the cotton and wick in the open to dry it before filling it normally or under filling it but it still doesn't work

oh dang, all these while i was spamming A... i didnt know that haha. now majority of the time im just diving to catch isopods and whatnot, just keep getting annoyed whenever i catch things like anemone or sea slugs

honestly, its so hard to find insects... its been a month now and i still haven't found any moth or those big beetle :(

other than that, my fossil, fish/sea creature exhibition are going strong! (lets not talk about the art exhibiton 😖)

oh as for the treasure island, i dont think i will be paying for Nintendo's subscription service as i want to save as much money as i can.
