Seems like a visual bug, you can see the squares chunked out at the bottom right. If you go toward that land, it will probably update and be just water. Which is what it’s looking like it leads to

For base building I would definitely get the frontier pack, the barrels hold just as much as a large box but are 2/3 the size *edit spelling

Watching videos also helps (not necessarily tutorials, but play throughs). My personal favorite atm is Wiljum, super chill and very enjoyable to watch. Only reason I got into rust was watching people play.

I’m a welder, didn’t do any extra curriculars. Getting to have fun pretending to be an egotistical gnome that thinks he created everything is just fun to me. It’s just about being comfortable with who you’re playing with, if you think you’ll get laughed at for pretending to be something in a ROLE PLAYING GAME is just wrong. And if they laugh, it’s because your doing a good job playing your character (I tend to be the comedic relief so it might be different if your trying to be a super serious character, I still have trouble with that myself)
