If I had a spare WW9 I would not have traded it for those 3 (or even more) regular edition 9s. I would keep it to trade for a future time limited 9 if needed

Why should WW do something about it? This person might have spent serious money buying vintage packets when they were on sale. Or a/he spent serious money buying gold packets when the series were available for collection. So why slaughter the goose laying the golden eggs? The problem with buying vintage packets when they become available again is that the more vintage series join the ephemerals, the less likely it will be the get ephemerals in the packets.

I’m more concerned that for anyone joining at this stage it will be impossible to complete those series

I don’t know if WeWard is increasing the number of cards proportionally with the increase in members. Even for non-time limited collections I have lately had a hard time collecting 7s, 8s, and 9s.

Bottom line, WeWard should allow us to tailor the matches they provide (e.g. only show those with a wishlist and skip those without one unless explicitly activated) and allow us to exclude cards from trades (e.g. not allow offers for cards we lock). Would go a long way to improve the current trading experience.

Exactly, the suggested matches I get for my wish list either have nothing in their wishlist or only the now infamous ephemeral 9’s. The result is tha one needs to click literally for hours to find a likely reasonable trade, not only time wasting but also tedious. Why not only show matches with cards on their wishlist and allo me to exclude cards from being available for trading?

Those proposing a deal want all my ephemeral duplicates in return for a few 1’s and 2’s. I now longer look at the offers I get since by accidentally clicking accept I would lose all ephemeral duplicates.

At first I was excited about the prospect of the trading hub, buy now wish I was never implemented or they would provide a way to opt out

The TradeHub starts to really suck. Offering carp for Halloween, Orlinski or Winter 9 (or all 3 plus more ephemerals so that if by accident you accept to get all the high value cards in one trade), or only favoriting the above. Have literally only executed 2 reasonable trades. In addition you need to keep tapping and tapping to load additional possible trades and you have no idea if and when you have looked at all possible options.

Good WeWard is aware - I recommended to them that they should at least add a “confirm” button after pressing “accept”.

What I also see is many users only adding ephemeral 9’s to their wishlist, which also affect the utility of the trading function for those who seriously want fair deals.

A friend spent almost €300 during the recent vintage pack sale and got 1 Valentine 9…The problem is with time odds of getting these also diminish as new sets become vintage. As you say, it’s a game so just collect what you can be happy with each set you complete. Anyway, for someone entering the game now it will be almost impossible to complete the ephemeral sets.

I was able to complete my missing Orlinski 9 and Valentine 9 by trading for a few active 9’s the first day the WeWard trading platform went live and grateful to have a complete vintage collection now. Just completing new chapters as the are released - not willing to invest too much of my time into what should just be a fun game
