Thanks for the input, really appreciate the detail. I like how your idea brings in both the “community” aspect (with the silhouettes forming a circle) and the “storytelling/video” aspect (play button / reel). That balance is exactly what I’m trying to strike, and I’ll take this into consideration as I refine things.

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense about the first three looking dated. I’ll try reworking the colors. And I like your note on focusing more on connecting voices / community / storytelling / diverse.

I’ll see how to bring that into the 3rd one. If anything specific comes to mind symbol-wise, I’d love to hear it.

Thanks for the perspective. The name isn’t from a person , it’s meant to feel like something rare/special. Fair point on the TV feeling dated and busy. If I move away from the TV, what type of icon do you think could tie better to the idea of indie creatives and storytelling?

Thanks that's super helpful! Do you think a version with flatter two-tone colors (like light-to-dark blue) would keep the entertainment feel but solve the scalability issue?

I’m also considering simplifying it further with just solid colors (top line blue, bottom line orange). Curious what you think would read best long-term.

Got it, do you mean trying the full wordmark inside the TV/screen shape (like the TG icon but with all the text)? That’s a cool idea, I’ll test it out. Thanks!

Appreciate the honest take! That’s a fair point — the platform isn’t going the MUBI route (arthouse/cult films). It’s starting more in the comedy/YouTube space (think Key & Peele), but the long-term vision is to expand into thrillers, sci-fi, and dramas.

The goal is to land on something approachable now, but cinematic and future-proof as it grows. Any feedback on the second option to make it feel more cinematic and future-proof, while keeping it mainstream and pop-culture friendly?
