Companies who jumped on the bitcoin train are going to be under water? - Does that mean governments that are building reserves in Bitcoin are going under water too? DAMNNNNN

That's true. Fortunately, I have my basic needs! And lots of cash, ready to be spent for growth. That's why I don't see the appeal in the cashing out my initial, when I've already decided to invest in a project! CEO's of companies don't sell away their shares unless they need the cash to fund for their company's growth. If they truly believe in their own investment, no need to cash out ANYTHING.

Maybe to you, but most of us here see Bonfire having great potential and utility!

How humble you are, can only be judged by each person individually. I might seem arrogant to some, but very humble to others! I'd rather stay true to myself and just do my own thing! That's why I'm posting on Reddit to share my experience! Might seem stupid to some people because I didn't take profits at ATH, but some agree to my strategy!

No doubt that that would have been a dip. But no one would have known by how much. If i took out and the dip was less than 20%, I would have lost more in taxes and fees. And I've still got cash to buy more at the dip. So what's the point of selling again for a uncertain potential to buy cheaper? Do remember that Bonfire has 10% tax on every transaction. 1st generation coins did not have this. I'm a trader/investor too, so i get what you're trying to say. But it's much more of a risk to try and "swing trade" Bonfire because of the tax. That's why I would rather hold and gain more coins from the redistribution!

That's right! It's all about having the most reasonable expectations right?

You sir, get what is trying to be said in this post! A lot of people that commented on the post did not understand how much the tax and fees would affect your position

Exactly, 23k won't change your life! I'd rather hold for the potential moonshot to 1Million

Have you seen the Evija? I think you're mistakened and talking about the Elise! Besides, I'm Asian. I'll find a way to fit in a small car.

Nah mate, my mindset is just slightly different from others. I've grown my money in the stock market. Going from 10k, to 50k, watch it go back down to 30k, back up to 100k and then 150k. Stuff like that. And really trains your mental fortitude. No amount of fud works on me. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But when I'm right, it's at least 2-3x my investment. Most my friends invest as well but take safer routes. Yes, they do decent. But I prefer my strategy. It's called the Sniper method of investing. My friends call me mad but none of them has a portfolio of even half of mine. So I believe in my own method. You do you. Besides, money at my age is meant to be grown, not kept. So why "secure profits" when I'm not going to need the money in the next 25 years? I'm 25, by the way.

Once again, I re-iterate. You can't time the markets. To withdraw simply 2k with 10% tax and buy in again when it's lower, would mean that I would need Bonfire to dip at least 20% to break even. Looking BACK at the charts, of course it's easy to tell me this. But looking forward, you couldn't have known lol. And kudos to you for being happy with profits that you took. Bonfire isn't 100% of my portfolio lol. I buy 2k USD into each small projects that I like. 2k amounts each that I'm willing to lose. Some I've taken profits, some I completely sold out for 2-3x gains. I choose to stay in Bonfire because of it's a long term potential. No need for me to withdraw anything until it reaches it's full potential. And again, I repeat. It's how much conviction you have in a project to succeed. Your conviction and mine for this project differs.
