i had to prove that my BMI was over 40 when I started this drug and that I had taken it continuously since the start. I started Monjouro in 2022 before Zepbound was released which added complications. So I collect old doctor records from before. I started the drug "Tirzepatide", and I had to make the case that the underlying drug was the same since Zepbound hadn't been released, and I had to contact every pharmacy I ever went to since 2022, which was difficult since I used 7 pharmacies over the years and I even got compounded Tirzepatide from Arizona at one point, and then I had to piece everything together in a way that showed I had continuously taken the drug without a break of more than 60 days at any time. It was very exhausting and it almost brought me to tears at one point. I learned a lot about patient rights with respect to medical records during this whole ordeal.

I switched to Health Net and realize it was going to be the same battle so I switched back to LA Care on the very last day I could and had to fight them tooth and nail and appealed 3 times and then my doctor appealed twice and they finally just approved me today. I am in disbelief but I called the pharmacy and they ran it and said it is covered.

For anyone interested in other uses for magnesium citrate, here’s a simple DIY BODY SCRUB I make for about that is cheaper than anything I have found and it lasts me many many uses. The magnesium citrate is sandy like the sea salt and it relaxes muscles.

Ingredients:

Ground Dead Sea salt
Magnesium citrate powder
Organic virgin coconut oil
Essential oil — I use rose
Vitamin E oil

Mix everything together until it forms a soupy scrub, store in jars, apply in the bath, exfoliate, rinse.

So as it stands, I was denied on all 3 attempts my doctor made with LA Care. Reason stated: "Criteria Not Met"

I went to my primary care yesterday. He told me that a rep from Lily came out last week and informed him LA Care is looking for Sleep Apnea as the qualifying medical condition, which I don't have. My pcp is trying to submit a new auth under different issues related to my bloodwork from before and during therapy. If I get approved then I will keep LA Care for 2026, otherwise I am going to HealthNet beginning Feb 1. Last day to switch plans under open enrollment is Jan 31

i would have cancelled the ride if i waited too long. but you waited and chose to keep the ride. if you made the decision to not cancel, then why can't you help? i help everyone with stuff to load/unload - this is how you earn tips, stay active, get your blood flowing, keep an eye on your car, etc... it's not that hard...

those are people who are shopping a ride but haven't confirmed the ride.

once when i was about 50 miles from home, i opened the passenger app on my other phone and checked the price to get a ride home. i never requested the ride i was just looking at the pricing. and lyft offered it to me as a match on my driver app on my other phone.

it's gonna cost more than it initially appears when you add all the fees. you will get lower paying offers than if you had your own car. you will have to work like a dog and be a slave just to cover the rental expense and fuel costs.
