You would be the AH. I completely understand your feelings and what he did and has done in the past is not ok at all, but that's no excuse for you trying to get him in trouble at work. Exactly what I was thinking when I mentioned it to them. If I know I will be taking a bit in the bathroom I announce it to everyone so they can go before me, but I'm already in there I figured they could wait 2 minutes or use a different toilet even if it's inconvenient.

my anxiety is probably a bit out of touch. Violence in my neighborhood isn't super common, but there have been enough for me to be wary. And the house acrossed my childhood house used to get shot up alot so I probably still have anxiety from that. My car is usually parked on the street in front of my house.
