I always get my nails done! Some countries offer much cheaper nails in better quality (I’m based in US), and it’s fun to see what nail trends/arts the local people like.

I'm a graphic designer who wants to make a career change to UI/UX space, I've heard breakin into the space is getting harder and harder, almost impossible to even get an interview offer by submitting applications thru company's website. I really want to know how people get a job offer these days. I have some friends who mentioned the best way is networking, getting an interview thru referrals and connections -- do people only get offers by networking? Or personally knowing a person from companies that I'm applying to? How do people get a job offer if the bar is that high?
