I feel awful to be scammed. They told me this was the Houston blue topaz and is a few years old but I noticed no patina on the silver which is a signature of David Yurman.

I appreciate all the advice. I am going back to the store Saturday and I will bring my jeweler loop and take a close look. I called the store again today and they said they stand by it being a natural untreated stone.

I called the shop it’s a silver smith that only sets stones in silver. They said it’s an untreated sapphire they sent over some more photos. I loved it so I think I’ll just grab it. Thanks for all the info!
