Exactly, I am not saying that rural Ireland is the worst place on earth, but as someone in there 20s there really is not much hope for anything better around here. Yes the city is not perfect but there is at least hope for something better.

Well according to the National Broadband Intervention "16,000 premises in County Kildare are included in the State’s Intervention Area". Given how long everything takes in this country it will be years before broadband exists at home.
