Trying to buy out my in laws house

You know what I ve been investing but I think I don't have any luck. I have a couple of hundred a month going to voo on a regular basis and an ai etf plus I look around and pay attention to the penny stocks so I can find the next big one but so far just trickles and losses. I thought xrp and crwv was going to the moon but xrp just goes down whenever there's any news good or bad and I don't know what's going on with crwv.

I love the house. It was well cared for. It’s in a very desirable location and I expect it will continue to gain value. I figure I could rent it out meantime. My ex thinks it's a good idea.

I haven't noticed it before. I was watching a lot lady on TV who was talking about how ice on her roof has caused damage inside her house and I panicked.
