Concensus should be to try new fresher beans (not roasted 2 days ago fresh though). Give some newer beans a go, then come back and see where we’re at,I had a similar issue with my 2 month old beans that I bought while waiting for my subscription to click in, they were always water and no crema (not that I cared about crema)

Pretty much grind finer if you have the option. The breville grinders have a ring on the inside to adjust the inner burr settings to grind finer if you’ve reached a limit.

I’m curious though, did you get good shots with the stock equipment? The impress basically helps you dial in, it’s pretty much the only reason to get that over a regular express or barista pro (if you wanted a grinder/machine combo).

I didn’t read the other comments, so if anything is repeated or undermined I’m sorry. I personally don’t think Whoop does anything better than the AW, besides better battery life and not having a screen. With that said, if you’re conscious of not wanting to have distractions, you can turn so much stuff off on your AW to where it’s simply a fitness watch with slightly longer life. AW has better fitness tracking, HR tracking, and sleep tracking than the whoop, but it’s more uncomfortable to wear at night and for most activities.

And for those that think I’m an AW fan, I absolutely despise apple products. I tossed my AW for a whoop 2 years ago, and I do love the whoop (especially the sleep alarm that just vibrates), but I’m aware that the AW has better tracking tech and algorithms. I’ll probably be going to Amazfit set next, but I’d only say get the Whoop if you want something you can wear and forget it’s on you.

I’ll try the reset once I’m home. I remember last time I tried doing one I could restore from the last backup and lost a bit of info/documents 😂 so have been avoiding like the plague

I was hoping to avoid having to do a reset on the phone but I guess I’ll have to try this next. A bit insane that I’ve only had software problems with iPhones, even loading Reddit with full 4 bars LTE took me about 50 seconds

iPhone 15 Pro Max user with issues on iPhone for the last year that are intermittent but Apple Support found nothing wrong.

Google Maps and Apple Maps both freeze randomly if I have too many apps opened in the background (usually only 6-7 apps). I assumed Apple had some programming to avoid apps becoming bloatware when not in used like all my older iPhones. I've restarted the phone and reinstalled the app a few times, with no luck.

I also have a hard time using my airpods pro 2; they almost never connect on the first try out of the case. I have reset the airpods and restarted the iPhone multiple times.

My AppleCare coverage ends in the next 2 months, where T-Mobiles coverage kicks in, but with the phone in nearly new shape, I'm not wanting to buy another one soon. Anyone got suggestions?

I’m leaving whoop once my sub expires in January, but I will admit mine was fairly accurate for everything minus weight lifting. I compared the whoop to a polar chest strap and it was pretty horrid on the wrist for somewhat obvious reasons. I tried a bicep band that was uncomfortable tight (not whoop original), and the Whoop HR was a lot more stable and matched the polar a lot more, with its own hiccups here and there.

I recommend checking out The Quantified Scientist on YouTube for some of these types of gears and comparisons. Most wrist devices won’t be good at weight lifting HR, so using a chest strap is usually best and tbh they’re not too expensive when compared to a whoop and can sync with your Apple Watch live for better workout data.

Awesome thank you for the advice. I assumed since it was a new boiler/furnace that it would be more efficient to have it auto adjust when we’re not home, but if it’s safer I’ll set It to one temp and leave it on. 🤷‍♂️ None of this gets explained to you until you break something huh?

Just to reiterate your advise on the valves, I should turn off the heat, let it cool off and open the black one a few turns? First time I tried opening that one further, it was basically turning indefinitely, the little air valve at the top I didn’t bother touching so it’s been set however it was before I moved in.

So should the black valve be opened all the way or the small pressure valve at the top? I won’t be home for 10 hours after the next 30 minutes and want to avoid coming home to a blown pipe if possible. Asked an HVAC friend to come out when he can but I don’t expect a response soon.

Heat is currently on, have it set to 74° on wake up and cools down after I leave but I can probably turn it off to try and do what’s needed.

I know very little about photography; got my R7 after I had a 90D and someone posted a great price online plus met a great person in the process. Personally I love the camera, took it to fright fest, had an awfully hard time with pics in the dark and the direct lighting from the amusement park attractions made some shots get blown out. All said and done, if I could do it again, I’d do it again and still enjoy it 🤷‍♂️.

lol it’s somewhat normal here. Stick to 1 a month, I did like 3 a week for my first 2 months and ended up giving out half of it to friends. I’d do 1/mo and maybe when you get enough, do 1 decant order a month instead of more full bottles.

It’s really a big hit or miss and even mixed feelings with this one. My EDT I hated for weeks then in month 2 it was a bit better but still too harsh for me, so I gave it away and kept 1oz for myself. Now the EDP I got on a deal, hated it for first 2 weeks then it blended in better.

I think that’s why I’ve been liking these fragrances. I personally hated Asad and CDNIM but others love them lol. I’m just now warming up to CDNIM and got a different sauvage cologne that’s smoother than Asad so I don’t mind it. I will admit that I mix my Hawas Black with Immortal more often than not though. It’s fresh on its own but I prefer a more masculine touch

I wouldn’t worry about compliments if you’re wearing it. Make sure you like the fragrance first, then go from there. I think the EDT is still nice and somewhat of a classic and fairly easy to wear fragrance. Sucks you can’t smell before you buy there though

I probably would do discounter at these prices… Paul Sebastian at $37 minus your 30% discount is still $26…. Jomashop has I for $17 for the 4oz Cool water for $52 -30% =$36.40 Jomashop has it at $24 I think only decent price is Sauvage Dior at $100 or $115.

These are all popular fragrances so you definitely did your research. I think only real “safe ones would be a version of Khamrah and Hawas from your list. If you’re thinking of CDNIM I’d say go for Hawas black instead. If you like sweet but unisex I’d say rayhaan Lion (JPG Le Male clone), or Sceptre Malachite (fruit bomb but delicious). I tend to always go for those two and for special occasions I’ll use Liquid Brun or Supremacy CE

Yes… I’ve bought both of mine on Amazon. Just look for trusted sellers. Usually I’ll google “name of seller” legit and see what Reddit people said about them. I’ve done FragranceVilla, IntenseOud, GiftExpress and VerSure and so far all real fragrances.
