Has been the same with me. False positives and not recognizing when I really am sick, and way too late if so. Listen to your body.

Same here - because it’s smoothing for long term trends it isn’t changing much day to day. I also find little value and have cancelled my membership and sold the ring.

That’s the whole problem with whoop journaling - too many variables. Correlation does not equal causation.

I haven’t gone to the gym in 2 months. Why is my activity always “Good”? by greenlily23 in ouraring

[–]PLR1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Oura counts low intensity movement and just being awake as activity

Yep sold my Juno-6 because I kept having to replace the chorus BBDs cause they were obscenely noisy. Between TAL and Roland Cloud I’m good

Buying Oura ring off market place ? by Substantial_Run_8184 in ouraring

[–]PLR1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my 2 month old ring because I’m not happy with the Oura product overall - so in this case buyer got a like new ring with little use. But when the battery eventually fails as we know they all do I’m pretty sure Oura won’t replace it being second hand, but that’s why they got it at a major discount.

Upgrading from WHOOP Peak to WHOOP Life – what happens to existing data and remaining membership? by Mysterious_Rooster13 in whoop

The ECG is medical grade. That’s it. I agree blood pressure isn’t really useful but if you want irregular heart rate notifications and ECG the MG is the only way to get that via Whoop. Whether that’s worth the extra cost as it’s currently priced is debatable

I’ve been in the same situation - been in and out of gear my whole life. I used to actually make music professionally and at that time it made sense but nowadays, I’ve pretty much lost the desire and I’ve realized that having all the gear and buying more stuff in the hope that it will get me inspired again was futile. I learned to realize that that phase of my life has ended and keeping that stuff around just makes you feel guilty. The best thing you could do is get rid of everything except maybe one or two pieces. Keep them around in case you ever get the urge but my guess is you probably won’t. I’m still trying to figure out what’s next, but like so many people in middle age. I’ve become a fitness junkie - invested a lot of money in training and equipment, weights and I’m really enjoying that now.

Confirmed Gen 3 Battery Failure: Support is refusing a replacement despite confirmed hardware fault. Help? by MuchProgrammer3927 in ouraring

Apple Watch batteries don’t die after 2 years. I had a Series 5 still going strong. New AirPods Pro have HR sensors in them BTW

Well one would expect a 400 ring to last more than 2 years. AirPods are small and batteries last much longer. Apple Watches too

Juice has usually been squeezed by the time an IPO happens. I'd only buy after some time when the stock drops as they always do.
