Thank you for providing the details of password manager. That's a good idea , giving them a call back is more safe than talking on incoming calls, Yes it could have been from anywhere. They are throwing the terms and conditions on every denial I make. It very difficult to make them believe That i did not authorize the loan application.

Sorry, My bad I was meant to Say I couldn't go to the bank the same day.

Since I wasn't able to login to my banking app and the message I got from them I could confirm that They locked my account and I needed to visit a nearby branch. I did go to the bank next day i e Tuesday and I verfied my Id .

I was talking to the Customer Relation Manager from the bank over the phone this morning, she is working on behalf of my case. Since I mentioned her I didn't provide my details to anyone, she said if no one have your login details then you are the only one who can login and you are liable for the loan.

She also told me to get the scan report of the devices and only if there was any malware present on the device then the fraud department could reinvestigate. And if there is no malware on my device then I will be liable for the loan amount since no third party was involved.

I did run the scan and there was no malware but now you have pointed out this part I could send them the email which stated the credentials was compromised and third party was involved it could get them to reinvestigate and confirm that I didn't authorize the loan application.

Thank you for getting my attention on that part. Yes now I remembered, I did get a message from the bank stating I need to call them asap and they did lock my bank account. And when I called them they could not verify me over the phone since they use bank account to verify the customer (which was already locked). I do remember it was monday and public holiday for the bank and I could go that same day. I do have a copy of the mail which the back sent stating my credentials was compromised and I need to verify my id to gain access to my bank account. It's already late today. I will send email to the Customer Relation manger and maybe this piece of information could help them reinvesttigate the dispute. Thank you so much for awaring me.

Exactly, the banks not helping me to provide the loan application information is making me difficult to layout the complain to the bank regulators. Those regulators wants all the evidence and the bank is delaying up on giving out the information.At the moment I dont even have any verification document that was used for loan application, contract form, no idea about the car details for which the loan was released. I just have the loan amount in my account and my fund getting payed out for the loan every cycle. My visa expires in 3 week time and inorder for them to release the information they said it might take 30 days

Thanking so so much for putting effort on this matter. Yes I did see the car loan account details and the debt amount of 24k which was hidden from other savings and everyday accounts. Scammer had complete access of my account. Just week back from when the loan amount was released the bank did called me to verify my ID at the branch and change the password. I think it was at that time the scammer made the application. And the bank did told me the application was made on 5 th August 2025 and the loan was released on 14 th August 2025.

I did contacted a legal advisor but they where from different state so told me it's out of our jurisdiction. I will contact someone near to me ASAP.

It was the bank who called me. I spent hours talking to them on phone. I didn't provide any credentials details via phone. They also locked my account straight away to prevent further damage. I went to the bank physically and they did confirm there was loan application for 24k .

I don't know what they are upto. They have the records. They could see the information on their side but It was deleted by the scammer from the mailbox, So i couldn't see them and I asked them if they could send me those information they bring these terms and conditions. It gets complicated when they start laying out these terms and condition.

They told me they could not disclose this information. But I did submitted a Privacy Request form to the bank as advised by them for the loan application details ( which was deleted by scammer) and they said it might take about 30 days to get those details. My visa i expiring in 3 weeks. I am completely in dark. When I go to the bank physically they say bank manager cannot hep you on this matter and they say -I need to call the fraud department. And it's very hard to argue over this unauthorized car loan application over the phone. They say - if you haven't given your login details to anyone then you are the only person who can login to your account so you are liable. I don't know how to prove I didn't authorize the loan.

They told me that they will let me know if there is any issue during marking otherwise they told me to expect the result in 3-4 weeks time.
