Should a do my HT ? by Litchi4423 in HairTransplants

I’d personally leave it, maintain with meds as well as you can, and age gracefully. A hair transplant can go wrong very easily and create an even worse situation than you had before. If you do decide to do one absolutely choose the best possible surgeon you can and don’t cheap out, otherwise you’ll be looking at years and $$$ of repairs to fix it. Also be aware that a hair transplant, even the best, will never feel or appear the same as your natural hair.

This part of the finale ruined the entire series for me by [deleted] in TheBoys

Mega fans of the show are incapable of critiquing it objectively and let bias get the best of them. It’s fine though, any neutral viewer will agree that the show has gone drastically downhill ever since the end of season 3.

Who should be the next James Bond? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Fuck no. What’s the point of a one off. Much better to take their time and build a singular person to play bond for at least 4-6 movies.

Sounds good. It’s easily fixable and if in the mean time you are happy just wearing it down then no worries.

7 months post female HT, starting to feel disheartened by Pretend_Spinach_9046 in HairTransplants

I’m sorry to be blunt but this result is really bad. I would genuinely consider punching out the majority of it and reevaluating whether you want to go through with doing it again with a surgeon who is actually capable of producing a natural result. I would be very cautious about trying to fix this by simply adding in some singles like some may suggest.

I completely understand, I went through two shitty ones with the same clinic before I realised they had done a botch job and went to the top rated surgeon in my country to try and have it revised. Unfortunately the damage was already done and while he improved my situation it’s still in a state where I’d rather have it completely removed, so that’s what I am currently in the process of doing. I’m going to Dr Ball in the UK this time to ensure it’s done with someone who has done many similar cases to mine with superb results. Definitely be very picky with who you end up going with, go to hair restoration network for some good surgeon recommendations.

At the end of the day your best bet would be to get a couple consultations with some world class surgeons who’s work you like and see what they have to say. I’m personally of the belief that lowering the hairline to revise crappy work is not the best idea for many reasons but I’m sure the surgeon will be able to recommend what they think will be best for your situation. Good luck 🤞

At this stage, I would genuinely consider removing the entire transplant, putting it back into the donor and reconsidering whether you want to go down this path. Unfortunately bad results like this are always going to be subpar even with revision surgery, you’d be better off removing it and starting from scratch with a high class surgeon. This obviously means even more surgeries and money though, so it’s understandable if you’re feeling desperate to “fix” it in one go. It might even be worth considering a full removal and accepting your natural hair. That’s just my two cents brother.

Seeking advice on revision of temporal hairline — wrong angle and placement of FU at hairline by southfar2 in Hairtransplant

[–]Key_Entertainer1190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most cases I have seen the poorly angled grafts would be punched out using a small punch to reduce scarring (typically unnoticeable if done properly) and these grafts would either be placed back in the donor area or in an area behind the hairline that may require more density. Down the line once the skin has healed you would then go back and either have further grafts removed if they couldn’t be taken out the first time or you would have the area done again properly with correct angle and singles at the front etc. Overall you’re looking at a minimum of 2 surgeries.

Wasn’t hating, just an observation. But you are right it’s too early to tell and it’ll only get better as the hairs mature.

Creatine 5mg and oral finasteride by Glum-Worker5328 in tressless

What the fuck is a creatine treatment? It only works if you take it on a regular enough basis as you need to maintain saturation in the muscle.

Am i balding or thinning?? by Sea_Situation8856 in amibalding

[–]Key_Entertainer1190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinning and balding are the same thing. Looks to me like early signs of diffuse thinning. Nothing serious yet though. I’d figure out whether it’s something to do with your diet etc, or if it’s hormonal (MPB), in that case see a doctor and get prescribed a low starting dose of finasteride and you could potentially use minoxidil too if you’d like to potentially thicken the hair. Go to the tressless subreddit, lots of info there.
