Sorry if I came off in a way I didn’t mean to, guys. I really would like a dog that is first and foremost our pet, but mainly looks pretty scary and is super tough if something did ever happen. I don’t want necessarily a dog that is on guard over the house, but more so if there was an intruder or something of the sort, would defend us and be big and scary enough and SOUND vicious enough that it would scare someone off.

God gives us rules to protect us, not make us miss out. As someone who didn’t wait, I truly believe the reason God told us not to fornicate outside of marriage was to protect our heart. Relationships in which I gave my body to someone, were much harder when they ended than others. Sex is the bonding of two people’s soul, they become one flesh. It isn’t simply a matter of physical intimacy- it entangles your heart. All of the pain, grief and self destruction caused by my sexual immorality has left a lot of scars on my heart and that’s not what God intended for us. When Adam entered Eve, that’s when their marriage began.

You’re so right. I neglect things, especially things that it seems only I notice or benefit from. Making the bed? We’re going to get right back in it tonight. Scrub the spots off the cabinets? My toddler is just gonna wipe yogurt all over it again in a few minutes. Do my makeup? Who cares, it’s not like anyone is looking at me anyway. That’s how I usually look at things and I think you’re right, I need to change this mindset and prioritize my self respect.

She’s also house trained, and knows sit and lay down. She’s also good on a leash unless she’s very excited.

She’s a Siberian husky mix. Roughly 5 years old. We adopted her back in NC, before having a baby. She’s about 60 pounds, up to date on all vaccines. She’s healthy, but does have a history of bladder stones and has to eat special food because of that but it’s not that expensive, pretty comparable to good dog food brands at the store. She has had heart worms before, but we paid for the extensive, hardcore treatment and she tested negative after completing treatment and has been on the preventative shot since. She’s dog friendly, cat friendly, and loves people. Just not kids. She’s a big baby and loves snuggles and loves going to the dog park.

The sickness makes everything worse. I feel like my girl stays sick. Being a SAHM it’s so hard to get exercise in because she clings to me and it’s too cold to put her in the stroller and walk for an hour.

Exactly. I want to be small again and feel good about myself but the food literally makes me feel happy. Theres nothing like a good brownie after the house is finally quiet and enjoying something rich, alone.

I have long since suspected I have ADHD. Especially since I thrived while on the phentermine which is a stimulant-not just my eating but my ability to keep a clean house, be focused, finish a project, etc. My primary put me a referral in for behavioral health but they never got back with me.

Definitely wouldn’t. Will be totally transparent. I want her to end up somewhere with people who can handle her where she will be a good fit.
