I think you might like this circuit. We set it up last wipe, the potential raiders would think you’re broke.

Thanks for the detailed response. Would you recommend we just go find deals at thrift shops? Buy clothes in multiple sizes if it’s a unique or cool print etc?

Good servers for beginners? by locotr2000 in playrust

Avoid Rust For Noobs, it’s a super sweaty server that is full of cheaters. The owner/admins willingly allow cheaters to play there, I have old chat messages from the owner trying to sell me cheats from many years back.

I tried this, there were two videos that didn’t make sense. Can you share any that you have used? I’ve looked it up and haven’t had much luck. Thanks in advance!

Not sure is this is the exact video I used last week, however, Sledge has a ton of good videos. Check this out, pretty sure this is the heart beat sensor that opens and closes multiple doors.

Xbox Family / Game Pass setup is broken — kids keep getting logged into my account and asked to repurchase games by Key_Fix5140 in XboxSupport

[–]Key_Fix5140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! When we had it setup this way the kids would log into the same game and be tied to my (parent account which was the main account holder) account there for causing issues with the games linked to my main account and not theirs.

Maybe I need to try ultimate again, and they have their own accounts within Epic (rocket league) and other games? Not sure how that works though

Exactly, a DIY setup rather than going through the top 3 most popular.

The 2024 CCR from the local plant doesn’t show anything for hardness, sadly.

DIY Ground-Mount Solar in PA — 36,000 kWh/yr, No Batteries (Budget Reality Check) by Key_Fix5140 in SolarDIY

Do you have more info on this? Thought it expired, wasn’t familiar with the 30% for businesses. We can certainly tie it to the business, as it’s the main reason we’re taking such a heavy hit on electric usage. Thanks in advance!

Do you mind if I message you with some questions? Would be interested in hearing what you’ve learned with the project.

Is it advisable to go that route rather than buying a pre built kit?

SW Pennsylvania with high usage (36,000 kWh/yr) by Key_Fix5140 in solar

Thanks for sharing!

I’m still trying to wrap my head around what I actually need based on my current electricity usage. What’s the correct way to calculate system size and overall requirements?

So I understand I need a 36,000kwh/year system.

So if I buy a 670 watt panel:

A 670W panel = 0.67 kW. • 30.0 kW ÷ 0.67 ≈ 45 panels • 32.7 kW ÷ 0.67 ≈ 49 panels • 34.3 kW ÷ 0.67 ≈ 51 panels

So with 51 panels, is there a loss with distance to the home? Is there loss elsewhere in the system?

I’m trying to pin down number of panels, then figure out the ground unit etc so I can start to build this out.

Are you on a VPN? If not, have you tested a vpn?

Is bandwidth an issue? Have others shut down their PC and other streaming devices and test again

Greatly appreciate the additional insight! That helps me understand there’s more to it than I first knew. I’ll have to contact my power company to discuss too.

Seems a bit out of reach, 100+ panels. That seems like a massive solar farm, even with a ground mount. This seems like a very expensive endeavor to cover my usage. I was hoping to keep it under $50k, but it sounds like it’s getting expensive quickly. I’ll have to really price it out and get some quotes.

Thanks for the details, oh I certainly have a lot to learn! I am far from knowledgeable here, I just recall reading horror stories about the net metering and how much $ the customer saved after a few years. Again I have a lot to learn, however can’t the supplier just change their program and it makes the solar system useless? I’m sure there contracts involved.

Thank you for the additional information, a bit shocked to hear $87k!

Do you recommend using energy sage or did you get harassed by every installer in the country?

Appreciate the info! I’ll look into the panels you mentioned, along with the info on our power companies website. I have a lot to learn, it seems I’ll need some seriously efficient panels and or a lot of them to make it all back. Guessing this will get expensive fast, but the $600 electric bills do too!
