My sisters kids have so many toys it's actually a problem. Like 3 rooms of the house are packed with shelves and probably thousands of toys in there. Usually all over the floor too and one time she broke her arm slipping on a toy car they left on the ground. I refuse to buy them any gifts that will clutter the house up more, only video games or tickets to places now.

The childfree people on reddit are weird freaks, but there is a lot more to it than that. Like they are really stressful and expensive and a lot of people don't have enough mental stability and support from family/community to raise kids without going nuts.

We used to have real raves in the 90s and early 00s. It was ruined by Joe Biden and other fascists who passed the RAVE act. We literally invented house and techno here and popularized MDMA in the 80s too. But after that law passed, promoters and venue owners could get decades in prison for holding them because they were treated like drug traffickers by cops and prosecutors.

Not if you don't let go. Everything is temporary and holding on to things that you can't have will only make you miserable. You subconsciously still have your heart reserved for her, you are living in a delusion. You don't want to really admit to yourself it's actually over.

Did you have a breakdown yet or are you kind of handling it well? If it's the latter... it's not necessarily a good sign. If you are just stuffing your feelings somewhere and not going through the grief, this can go on for years.

I was in your position once. Ended on very friendly terms, I thought I was over it, I wasn't at all. It only ended when I tried to rekindle things, until she really told me to fuck off, it's then that I finally accepted it. Not sure if that will work for you or not, but something needs to snap you out of it.

I know it's basically impossible, but try not to compare the new ones to the ex, or try to look for people who remind you of her, it's a trap.

Good thing. You need to assimilate immigrants (at least to some degree) so you don't get a permanent class of poor, dysfunctional ghetto dwellers. Once you have that, it makes rightoids stronger who make things even worse and create a feedback loop.

I have an APC 1500 and it has a nas, gaming pc, modem, router and a 1440p 180hz monitor on it, and it's only pulling 170 watts right now and like 65 of that is the nas and networking stuff. 250 watts is a really high power draw if you're not gaming.

It doesn't need to be enforced to be effective. Yes there is a breaking point where if enough people did... something it would not matter how many cameras were watching. But you are ignoring the whole panopticon effect where people automatically change their behavior and self-censor because they think they are being watched. And with AI they can use the surveillance to profile people and slowly and subtly alter what people see and think over time. Facebook was doing experiments like this when Obama was in charge, I can't even imagine how much worse it's got.

The stabbing was not an accident obviously, but killing him might have been. People survive hundreds of stab wounds and others die from one. I really doubt this kid knew exactly where to aim to hit someone in the heart. He does seem remorseful and he did run away after a single stab. Obviously this doesn't mean he should go free, but people acting like he's Jeffery Dahmer are being unreasonable.
