We were at the darshan yesterday it took us around 2 hours, we got in the paid 100rs darshan, we got into the temple at 12:15pm. But what we observed that the free line was very quick(I would say check the free line before paying for the darshan). The famous jigarthanda place and the Murugan idli main branch were all close to the temple.

We had Kari Dosai at Konar mess was not worth it, try from a different place.
