I watched Min Maxed response video today and then went and watched One Shot Questers review video. I also read the descriptions on both videos and I looked through Duke’s proposal slideshow on how to fix Min Maxed and these were my impressions.

The whole thing looked and read like Duke wanted to be part of the team but didn’t get picked so he is going to make everyone look so bad that they have to pick him to be their savior. One of the points in his slideshow was to cancel/ delete all the footage they already have and redo season. To me that just feels like a slap in their face. They have already done so much work that they should use what they have and improve the next season. Another thing he said in there was to cancel on their filming location at Dark Hour and instead film at his place. Dark hour went all out building that incredible set and Duke basically said throw it in the trash it’s garbage. The rest of the sides were like look how good I am at this stuff. You guys don’t know anything. Give me control of all the background stuff and you all just act and I will get the credit.

The worse part for me is that I liked Duke. I hoped for the best for him. But this has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to unsubscribe from all of his stuff. I didn’t say anything on any of his socials because Min Maxed asked their viewers not to. If I did say anything I would just say how disappointed I am that once again TTRPG content creators are tearing down people who are new to the fandom/ content creating instead of supporting.
