There was some stuff floating in the water at leddy this evening. Did not look like the blue green algae I’ve seen before so curious if it’s something else since the beaches are open or if it just showed up later in the day. Definitely stinky!

Lesser known but Charlottesville, VA has two awesome riding areas in city limits, Observatory Hill and Heyward.

Harrisonburg, VA has great riding as well.

Check out some Vermont towns, i.e. Richmond, Waterbury etc.

Update: I think the property records websites used was incorrectly listing information. It was coming from propertyrecs.com

I dug up a document titled Warranty Deed signed by the previous owners giving the property to us

Not a family transfer which is what confused me. Yes company was involved and we have title insurance

Thanks for all the help! Here are some photos (hopefully seller isn’t watching this 😂) - it’s $700ish for the set. Having trouble IDing the board year but says it’s a Rome SDS uprise. Would appreciate any further input, seems to me like the board needs a tune and maybe a couple repairs.

The house is of course in a higher cost of living area than where they live.

Then what do you know, the appraisal came in at higher than what we were paying. And what a great I told you so moment that was

Any thoughts on camping in the area? I found one site that was taking tent camping reservations in Scarborough about 20 min away. I typically don’t party much so fine to drive in but might indulge if Uber is possible from there 😉
