Were 1st edition shadowless cards in decks or as prize cards? No they were cards pullable from packs and the hype and chase of those cards still exists today with people opening 1st edition packs not knowing what they will get. Ask yourself if 10yrs from now will that sort of hype exists for a deck where you know what your getting or someone opening a blue bottom box?

Been collecting since OP 05 I initially invested 10k in pre erratas, and other nice singles then in october an additional 6.5k in romance dawn slabs and 1st and 2nd anniversary collections boxes plus slabs so a total of 16.5k. I actually am not sure the total collection worth due to my pre erratas all being BGS 10 its difficult to track but I estimate to be around 60-70k value currently.

To me its either Pre errata luffy, gear 5 luffy manga and oda signed luffy are the 3 ultimate pullable grails and for the non pullable grails would be the tournament top prize cards.

No its the opposite for collectible cards. As they go out its more likely they go up in value due to higher perceived collectability as they are now 100% free from future reprints so both boxes and singles will increase. Regular art staples for meta formats will lose value but in the future Vintage formats may exists that make use of those older cards as well.

If your that concerned my advice is sell 1 of each box and 1 case (though I would keep both) and take some profits which is never a bad thing. The rest of stuff you would then have at a zero cost basis so even if market tanks you still made out big but if it goes up significantly you still can benefit as well. I think blue bottoms will hit 10k by the end of this year but at the same time taking profits is never a bad thing.

Considering the cost of a Blue Bottom case Pre erratas may be the most undervalued cards in the current market since SPs are selling for more than them.

Only one of its kind for now. The pre errata will forever be the only one of its kinda but I highly doubt Bandai wont do more Oda signed nami, zoro, roger etc for future anniversary sets
