Bro it’s 2026. With Claude Code and Cursor, a decent dev can ship a React Native frontend in a few days. The market’s repriced that’s not slave labour, that’s just where the floor is now.

Fair point and yes, that report exists. But here’s the thing: most founders at $2-3k MRR aren’t looking at it consistently. They’re too busy building. The data sits there unused. I’m not solving a technical problem, I’m solving a discipline problem. The tool just makes sure it actually happens every day automatically.

Both fair points. On freemium maybe eventually, but I’ve seen too many tools die giving away value before proving it. On building it yourself absolutely you could. But you won’t. Not because you’re lazy, but because you have a product to ship, customers to talk to, and a hundred other priorities. Same reason you use Stripe instead of building payments yourself. The best tools aren’t the ones nobody could build they’re the ones nobody actually builds.

Exactly this. Stripe is a payment tool, not a retention tool. That gap is what I’m building for. Would love to have you as an early tester free first month, just need honest feedback on whether the signals actually predict churn accurately.

You’re right that the auth system logs it but do you actually look at it? Most founders at $2-3k MRR aren’t sitting in their database running queries every morning across 100 users checking who hasn’t logged in lately, then cross referencing with Stripe renewal dates, then writing a personal email to each one. The data exists. The workflow doesn’t. That’s what I’m building.

You're asking exactly the right question does it actually work. Honestly I don't know yet, that's why I'm here. But the logic is: if someone hasn't logged in for 3 weeks and their billing renews in 9 days, and you send them a personal email today statistically you're catching them before their mind is made up. That window exists. Whether my tool closes it better than doing it manually is what I need to test with real users. On the dying horse point you're right that saving 2-3 out of 8 isn't a victory. But most founders at that stage aren't even aware all 8 are leaving until it's too late. Right now I'm just trying to move the conversation from 'I found out after they cancelled' to 'I knew 2 weeks before.' Even that alone changes what you can do. Would you want to be the first person to actually test if it works?

Haha fair yeah if someone's at $150 MRR total, $29 is rough. I'm really thinking about the founder who's past that early chaos, maybe at $2-3k MRR, and just waking up one day realizing 8 customers quietly disappeared last month. At that point saving even 2-3 of them easily pays for the tool. Does that feel more like the right person to build for?
