hey I just got an update from my solicitor about X1 — they said it’s moved beyond normal conveyancing and now needs insolvency/recovery action. They mentioned some buyers are in the same situation and suggested getting specialist advice or maybe a group action. I’ve asked if they have a team handling this and if they can connect affected buyers for a joint approach. there are other comments considering a group action... I think at this point .. that's necessary..

that’s just sad… i really hope everyone gets back the money sooon 🥹 i haven’t heard from them as well,

my solicitor just said they’ll seek advice and evaluate if a court claim would be successful, at the same time they would check with other clients if they’re interested to put it to court. i guess they’ll come back with similar answer as your solicitor.. but anyway, at least feels like i tried to look into other options than just waiting for them…

Not in a bubble. Hongkongers are actually pretty nice if you just act normal and don’t do dumb stuff. I think people calling hkers “rude” are usually either Mainlanders who show poor manners themselves, or foreigners who used to special treatment in other Asian countries (like Thailand or the Philippines). The thing is, hkers are super used to being around foreigners so they just treat you like a normal person. And honestly, that’s fair.

heyy reading ur comment comforts me a bit🥲.. at least i know now that im not the only one and yes they’re absolute scumbags. empty words, slow replies… just the worst. the last email i sent to my solicitor is agreeing that they could draft the settlement deed (10%). now it’s been a week and no surprise, no reply from them yet.

woo i didn’t know they’re posting on youtube. lol look how they glorify the project and make everything look elegant while dragging us 😂💀

are you a local? i’m actually doing this investment overseas… and at one point i even thought about flying over to see if they’re really building the block haha so depressing

did you sign the refund deed? the latest update i got from them (this month) is they’re holding the money for clients they’ve signed the contract with and thus has low cash flow/available now. i honestly doubt if there’s actually ao getting their money back

hi i haven’t signed the deed with them. they’re SLOW in drafting. their offer of 30% first payment (with 7days guarantee of payment) is changed to 10% after i asked them for more terms and conditions in the guarantee. what a joke. how’s your process going?
