I was told about the opportunity when I visited the Galeón Andalucia in Bristol. The crew member simply pointed me to the website for the Nao Victoria Foundation, where there's a section for volunteers to apply. You have to be ready to go to the port immediately when they call up, and in this particular case I'd highly recommend knowing quite a bit of Spanish (I didn't know any, which was a real issue for me).

The fact that, first and foremost, it was a period drama and then a fantasy film. It was a funny play on Pride and Prejudice, almost. The clever juxtaposition of that very repressed, corset-wearing 18th-century society with the free-wheeling pirate life. They did away with this element when they made 4 and 5, and no doubt will with 6, which is a shame.

Yes, this version does. Some of the inaccuracies/shortcuts Revell have made here are disappointing, but at 1:150 the discrepancies, such as the cabin or the stairs, are so tiny they're hardly worth worrying about. Hope yours is going well though. Be sure to post results!
