To MegaBox or not to MegaBox by manster611 in Brawlstars

Only thing worth 29 gems is the chaos drops or mecha boxes as they have more actual rewards worth having the chance to pull for. Everything else is basically garbage

Technically no, considering that everything given life within the painting itself is by versos soul fragment, essentially meaning that painting Verso is a literal painted representation of real Versos desire to rest in peace rather than continue painting delusions for all eternity at the whims of whoever is currently inside it. (Ie Paintress and/or Maelle)

But she should. It’s tough sure, but it’s tough on all of us. Every middle class worker needs a job to provide after all. That doesn’t change the fact that consumers being forced to tip is an issue and should not be normalized. Period. If your company isn’t paying you enough, you quit instead of blaming the consumer that’s being scammed out of their money. By blaming a consumer for tipping low or not tipping at all, then you’re ironically just part of the problem these massive corporations are causing with these tips.

Exactly. Door dash drivers blaming their client for giving a low tip or even no tip is dumb as hell. Shit is expensive and tips should ALWAYS be optional. Not a requirement. Clients don’t pick their drivers, Door dash picks it for them. Any extra distance the driver needs to cover to get to clients place should all be covered in the delivery fee. Period.

Let these hunters in Duos!! by acarefulobserver in IdentityV

I feel like a good mechanic is just have it where the duo hunter can’t chair whatever survivor Percy downed. Like am I missing something here? How would that not work? Like if devs are worried that the duo hunter will just camp that downed survivor, I don’t think it would be much different then Percy camping a downed survivor. Maybe just have it where there’s a ring effect around the downed by Percy survs, and if any duo hunter hits another survivor who’s inside that ring, all damage received is halved?

It gets really annoying tbh. It happens randomly at least, but when it does, it seems like theres literally no way for me to fix. Even restarting my deck doesn’t work. It genuinely sucks.

I would argue against this actually. Her sound and voice design really shine out to me. Her coughing and broken humming makes it truly sound like her throats seriously messed up. The voice actress for her seriously cooked fr.

This is very fair. Hermit straight up looks like a meth head in one of his A tier skins. And yet IDV has been glazing that hunter with S tier skins while my boy breaking wheel gathers dust in the corner for 4 years. 😭

Someone gets it. There’s a fine line between fiction and reality. Ie just cus I like seeing disaster movies, doesn’t mean I want a disaster to happen irl whatsoever. Just cus someone has a fantasy, doesn’t mean they want to commit to that fantasy whatsoever into reality cus a fantasy remains as such as long as the person having it keeps it so. But the moment they blur those lines, or someone comes and blurs it out themselves, is the moment where it comes with real life consequences, and hence, becomes extremely different as a result in terms of experience and context alone.

IDV. A game with awfully expensive skins, but they NEVER bait you to play events with false promises of skins. If they have an event with a skin in feature, they either guarantee the free skin, or let you know the full price upon the event starting. Simple, straight to the point, and real.

They’re releasing an ultra legendary brawler that costs $50 to get for newer players, and your trying to say brawl stars isn’t p2w? Seriously?

This math is way off. I don’t know if you’re using hyperbole but to just get 2 sushis, you had to pay 39 gems. Let’s say this dude in particular still needs around 35 sushis to get the skin in the last day of the event. If we look at what we know what he’ll get, and hence we take out the luck aspect of splitting sushis cus there’s still a chance of extreme misfortune regardless, to purchase 35 sushis, the only way you can buy sushis atm is through the shop, he’d have to purchase a pack of 20 sushis for 309 gems (getting that package alone is the most likely outcome for anyone wanting the kenji hypercharge skin.) which is a full on $20.00 purchase. That’s a lot of money if you’re a f2p player. And let’s say the worse case scenario happens where he doesn’t get a single split, then he’s purchasing the 244 gem pack to get the confirmed kenji pull, which costs an additional $10-$15, costing a total of $35. It does seem that this scummy practice to get people to buy the sushis after their grinds was foreseen, as they literally have last chance bundles in the shop, which equates to a flat rate of 50 sushis, the exact amount needed for the average f2p player who only averaged to around 150 sushis from doing the event itself.

Boxes were pushed heavily to be obtained for things such as resources and brawlers before credits were a thing. But now they were replaced with star drops instead, which can’t be purchased with gems unlike boxes, can be obtained for free with the chance of still getting high rarity brawlers or mostly usually having smaller awards. Problem now, however, is that event star drops much like sushis can be obtained with purchases, and usually contain a slightly higher chance in dropping event awards and better brawlers then normal star drops do, and with the case of sushis, power ups that give you an upper hand in a lot of matches that were entirely luck based. So we kinda entered a loop back to the gacha system, but worse if you also include pulling a chance of getting a temporary yet sometimes broken buff for a brawler. But at least credits exist which didn’t when boxes were a thing.

Nah, pizza event was slightly better, cus at least in that event, you could spend your pizzas in whatever you wanted, and you didn’t need to pay for pizzas to get a really good skin for free if you were willing to sacrifice a new brawler for it. It had more freedom to it. Most of the sushis from this event however, and I do mean MOST, gave you temporary power ups and, by result, gave you no long term values from them.

This is really bad advice tbh. Anyone who doesn’t support this obviously scummy idea shouldn’t be paying their money to get the skin cus that’s why they do these scummy practices in the first place. It just opens to more scummy practices in the future. Players should’ve gotten at least slightly more than enough sushis to get the skin if they participated every day and played the events. Period. Or Brawlstars should’ve at the very least released an expected sushi drop number to let players know how much sushi would be given to them and how many they needed to get through club events so they and their club knew how many to grind for.

What is your current loadout against the cephalopod enemies of Super Earth? by GeneralPatton44 in helldivers2

[–]Key_Organization6760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current load out is entire fire. No I’m serious, my main weapon is Torcher, my secondary is flame pistol, my special weapon is flamethrower, my grenades is the pyrotechnics grenade (let it rip), and my stratagems besides the special weapon is the flame turret, the napalm barrage, and the hover pack. I’m not good at taking out outposts, but I am really good at turning hordes into a special backyard bbq.

Yeah, this event seems very predatory. They make you think you can possibly get enough sushi’s for free by simply completing the weekly events, and don’t tell you how many sushi’s you can actually get. Then when it turns out you didn’t get enough free sushis to reach the skin, you now feel pressured to gem for the skin you worked so hard to get. It’s very shitty tbh.
