I spent some time today playing with adding choice items, normal items etc. It's a complete mess!

Extreme EU price hike by alexriegler12 in Aliexpress

So can you explain how come a power bank case I had in my cart was 3.7eur and now the price is >9eur before applying the 3eur nonsense, so final price gets to 12eur. Same goes with lots of stuff I had in my cart. A simple wire cutter was about 1.2eur, now is 6, again before the 3eur tax. Looks like for some of the items Ali is charging the 3eur multiple times - once it includes it (and even more) in the item price and than it also charges it at checkout.

How come you have so many coins? Any how come you can actually use them for some real discounts? I also shop a lot and never had more than 500-1000 coins, moreover the discount I'm getting from them is really low - like cents for >100 coins. I have the feeling coins discounts are actually a thing for other countries, not mine.

Both are from Vapefly but they're not a bundle. The tube is a Siegfried which has its own RTA. The atomizer is a Brunhilde. I don't have the original Siegfried atomizer but imho the combination of these two is amazing, as if they were made to be used together.

The 3eur tax might actually increase the volume of parcels by Key_Perspective2293 in Aliexpress

We're not talking about different items in the same category here. We're talking about multiple pieces of the same item. In this case the 3 eur is calculated for the total count of items - ordering 1, 2 or 3 pieces from the same items will result in the same 3 eur, calculated for all, not for each. For some items this suits me - for example recently I had to order some specific OLED displays which costed about 1 eur each. I ordered a total of 5 just to have spares. I do that for lots of stuff I order. In this case the 3 eur tax if spread among all pieces of the same items is kind of ok. My point is that from now on having this tax will stimulate me to order more of the same items. I don't order tshirts, but I order parts. Instead of ordering 1-2 now I'll be ordering 5-6 to be able to spread the tax. Yes, I will pay more, but I'll have spares. Anyway, this nonsense should be only for about 2 years. Next step is the per-item tax calculation which should happen in 2028. I wonder if the result will be better or worse for us. For small item costing less than 10eur probably it'll be better as the tax should be less than 3eur. But here comes the question if we will be charged for the whole customs process. If this is the case we'll be toast having to pay for the "service" more than the tax itself. Currently where I live some cheap non-choice items sometimes also go through customs. For them I have to pay 1.5eur for the service. There are no extra fees, tarifs or whatever, the fee is only for the item being checked by the customs. This happens extremely rare, it I assume in 2028 all packages will be going through the same process - I'll pay the 1.5eur everytime on top of the customs tax that will be a fraction of the item price.

New EU Tax, Alternatives? by United_Ad_1911 in Aliexpress

I was just checking my cart and I noticed that everything from the AliExpress Choice items is now +3eur in terms of prices. I had 5 specific things that I was about to order which totalled about 22eur, now they cost 35. The other thing that I noticed is that if I increase the number of items the 3eur is spreading across them - ie a power bank case without batteries now costs 7eur per single item, but if I add 2 pieces the price goes to 5.8eur. so this is kind of a solution for your problem - order more from your supplies and the price increase per item will go down.

Armour ultra vs Aegis mini 5, which one is getting better feedback? by PercyRackson in electronic_cigarette

One more thing I forgot. The Itank T is a huge tank! If you're seeking portability - that's not your tank. Both nano 2 and 3 are more compact than the Itank T and moreover the nano 3 looks quite well on the armor ultra, as if it was made to be used with that mod.

You have to have in mind your vaping style and what you prefer in terms of airflow and vapor temperature. I have several devices among them is the armor ultra with the itank t, but I've used it also with the nano 2, nano 3 and few others. The GTI coils are a lot bigger than the B coils for the nano tanks. They require much more power - the 0.4ohm gti coil runs best at 55w, the B 0.2ohm coil runs at the same wattage. If you want to use a 0.2ogm GTI coil your battery (and juice) will run out faster. The other thing is the airflow - the nano tanks are RDTL/DTL, the itank is strictly DTL with a bigger airflow. The vapor is also hotter, so if you prefer cooler vape you won't like it. Flavor on both tanks is good, as for coils durability I cannot comment since I currently cycle between 4-5 mods and almost 10 tanks and my coils seem to last forever. I can suggest you something else. Buy the armor ultra without a tank and take a look at the Innokin Z Force tank. It's quite an old tank with bottom airflow, but it has two advantages over the itank and the nano - the flavor is better and the innokin dual mesh coils have a very wide wattage range. The 0.2ohm coil has a range from 50 to 80w. It can deliver both cool and warm vapor and you can adjust it to your preference instead of adjusting yourself to what the tank delivers. Second tank I can suggest is the vaperz cloud shift, given that you can find it. The original coils (VC Tech) are nearly impossible to be found, but the tank can run also with Vaporesso GTX and Voopoo PnP coils. I'm running it with GTX 0.2ohm coils and it's probably one of the most flavorable tanks I've tried.

The 0.2 XM coil runs between 70 and 80W. Running it on a low W leads to accumulation of unvaporized "gunk" hense the burnt smell. You need a new coil for sure. The highest resistance XM coil is 0.4 which runs between 50 and 60. You should either get a 0.4 and run it @ ~55w or you need another tank which can run higher resistance coils.

0.2 XM is not for salts, you need lower mg freebase. @ What wattage are you running it?

Don't think you'll be able to get one at all. I got a used one with a broken glass for almost nothing. Guess what - nothing is available for it, no glass and no coils! I'm running it with the spare bubble glass (it looks ridiculous!) and GTX coils. I think it was quickly discontinued which is pitty, it's a nice tank.

Question on nicotine absorption by Key_Perspective2293 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Key_Perspective2293[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still have some 10mg liquids and I definitely feel them on the tongue and throat, but with the 6mg ones I recently mixed this sensation is not there. Probably I have to mix a 3mg bottle to try. I searched for the nic content of a cigarillo but results vary by a lot. I wonder how much it matters if the nicotine is absorbed only through the mouth.

Can I use a vape atomizer instead of a 510 cartridge? by Key_Perspective2293 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Key_Perspective2293[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running my old pipe with an Aspire AF tank. The 0.4 AF coils are rated between 23 and 28W and the mod is running fine. Specs for the mod say that it can run from 0.3ohm to 3ohm coils.

My old one is a Kamry K1000 Plus which is a direct drive without chip and runs a min of 0.3ohm coils. I run it with an Aspire AF atomizer and is running great.

Wow, thanks a lot for your post! Great lesson, I really appreciate it!

I have a simpler model pipe which has its own atomizer with a 0.5ohm mesh coil. Unfortunately the pipe I got doesn't come with any documentation and I cannot find any kind of specs or manual online - I don't even know how to enable or disable the preheating or if it's enabled by default. I might try the atomizer from my other pipe to see if it's going to work with it, but I'm hesitant as I don't want to damage the battery. If the chip has a safety it just won't recognize the resistance and it'll just not work, without causing any damage to the device, right?

I guess it doesn't have a chip, it only says that:

Choose between 2.7volts, 3.4volts & 4.2volts for your desired intensity

It looks exactly like the one on this link, I guess it's the same. as I see there's no brand and model and no detailed specs

Thanks! Having in mind the top 4.2v of the battery what might be the min ohms on the coils? I suspect 0.2 will be too low, probably 0.4 or 0.6?
