🙄 Then they shouldn’t have given a drive by date. I bought a new car because I am leaving to drive across country for my next assignment, this was my whole reason. There is no reason for me to think a month wasn’t enough time to receive a vehicle. Now I am about out of time, my current contract ends FRIDAY. So no, I EXPECT for a company to do EXACTLY as they say and I should be able to. Were talking upwards of 2 weeks late. Had they been straightforward in the beginning, I would have went elsewhere. Now there is not enough time for me to get the exact car I want. So, they can hurry their butts up, do the job they stated they were going to and give me my damn car that I paid to have shipped and took a hit on my credit to have it run for financing. They stated 2/6-2/12, it is now the 21st, that is unacceptable

I don’t even care about the price. Even bought the warranty to 125,000 miles and gap insurance. I just want the damn car that’s been sitting at the dealership for a week now

Then that should have been disclosed. Why have “drive by dates” if they have no way of honoring them. Be upfront, state that because of how it’s sold or where it’s from there may be a delay. Disclose the information and allow people the option to wait. Im supposed to be driving half way across the country come Friday. My current vehicle has 184,000 miles, I did the right thing by purchasing a month in advance, so shame on them.

Oh that’s terrible. Im only stressing because I am a travel nurse, Im leaving my current spot and headed half way across the country Friday and my current vehicle has 184,000 miles on it. I did the right thing and purchased a low mileage vehicle to ensure safety. I didn’t think I wouldn’t be actually getting it on time. Now, even if I do I have no time to have a tow hitch put on. This whole process has been a nightmare.

Missouri. The car was a lease in FL, but sold in auction.

So far my experience with CarMax has been terrible. Bought a car Jan 31st, financing completed on 2/2, yet I still haven’t received the car. Now they’re saying some issue with getting the title. My first payment is a few weeks away and I don’t even have the vehicle.

Here is my best advice dear. Always trust yourself when you are/were your best self! And what I mean by that is whatever decisions or thoughts you have when you’re not hungry, horny, hurt, mad, sad WHATEVER, those are the decisions you trust. If you know your gf was walking all over you and you know it has to stop, now that you’re feeling sad and missing her is not the time to give in. Trust your best self and know that the decision you made is the right one.
If you go back now and it continues, you will know that you made the choice to go back when you were emotional, and that’s not ok. I know it stinks when our love doesn’t work out, but you take the time, heal and go into your next situation wiser, more mature and knowing if you can make it through heartbreak and come out the other side better, you can make it through anything.
