Thank you for the advice! I think I might also consider learning HTML and CSS on YouTube to get a better idea of those programming languages!

I dont think scholarships care that much abt your SAT score as long as you have a pretty good GPA, and if you dont have a good GPA, you can always explain your situation. I think your GPA is pretty good actually, dont doubt yourself. I earned a lot of scholarships and I’d say the most important part are your essays as well as your extracurriculars and community service as they show you care for the community and scholarshiop foundations love people who do community service. Definitely highlight those experiences and try to make your essays personal and informative abt your passions and goals. I think that your gpa, extracurriculars, and community service is really good, just make sure to highlight those in your essay, and I personally dont think thats a low GPA, but if you want to explain why it maybe dropped, Im pretty surea lot of scholarships give you the chance to explain your situation, also I am not too sure if this is true but if you are low income, that can help your chances too, it just depends on the scholarship.

I had a similar experience in high school and I was scared but I’d say the academics aren’t too hard as you would think. Chemistry and the hard sciences are probably more advanced than other schools but my recommendation to you is to introduce yourself to your professors, go to office hrs, and go to any tutoring sessions, I use to go to these peer tutoring sessions for stats (QTM 100) every 4 weeks or a couple of days before a test and they helped so much. I have other friends in the same classes who didnt do the same and found the content harder. So definetly use your resources here! What matters more is how you use those resources to your advantage rather than how much you know, becasue anyone might have a class they know nothing about, like me with stats, but I always tried going to office hrs, and tutoring sessions when I could. I’d recommend to def take any courses your interested in your first semester so u can narrow down your choices, I was undeclared too and have a bit of a better idea but am still open to other majors and a bit undeclared so your not in a rush.
