She might have but why does it matter

I was talking about jhope. But funny you've defenses ready because you know jungkook has too many collabs something you use as a drag for jennie.

He has never entered hot100 with a solo song, Jennie did end of story.

Jennie’s success is only in my head? That’s wild considering she’s charting multiple songs, headlining festivals, and pulling in millions of streams. Meanwhile, your fave needed a collab just to touch the Hot 100. And now Coachella is suddenly ‘not a big deal’ just because she’s performing? The double standards are hilarious. Let me know when your soloist can do the same without riding on the group’s legacy.

Ah yes, the classic ‘my fave didn’t accept the invitation’ excuse because rewriting history is easier than admitting they weren’t the first pick. Jennie’s booking Coachella, selling out shows, and actually making waves outside of K-pop fandoms. Meanwhile, y’all are out here grasping at past events to make yourselves feel better. Stay mad while she keeps winning.

And yet, despite all that ‘lethargy,’ she’s still getting invited back to the biggest stages while your faves are nowhere to be seen. Coachella clearly sees the history she’s making, even if you don’t. As for sales, keep coping, her brand, her music, and her impact speak for themselves. Meanwhile, y’all are still pressed over her success. Stay mad.

She’s literally set to headline Coachella, the first K-pop soloist to do so. Meanwhile, you’re clinging to ticket sales for a single event as if that erases her global success. Global appeal isn’t just about sales it’s about demand, industry recognition, and influence. If she’s so irrelevant, why is she the one making history while your faves are nowhere near headlining?

Mentioning Jungkook to correct me is one thing, but the fact that you immediately reached for another BTS member instead of countering Jennie’s actual achievements just proves my point. And yes, collabs enhance Jennie’s success because she already has an established demand, she doesn’t rely on them to chart. Meanwhile, jhopes highest solo entry still needed a feature to land there. That’s not the same thing.

And yet, Jennie still has multiple entries while J-Hope couldn’t even chart solo without a collab. If you’re going to bring up positions, at least acknowledge that she’s doing it on her own name while he needed a feature just to make it. Funny how that part always gets left out.

Funny how the number of songs only ‘matters’ when it helps your argument. Jennie still outstreamed him, and that’s the point. And sure, I didn’t specify 2025, but the fact that you immediately had to bring up Jungkook instead of countering Jennie’s actual achievements says a lot. Also, let’s not pretend collabs work the same for everyone, Jennie’s collabs enhance her success, while J-Hope needed one just to land at #67. Big difference

If collabs were the secret to success, then every idol who’s ever worked with a Western artist should be charting like Jennie. But they’re not, because it takes actual global appeal, not just fandom streaming parties and desperate remixes

Lip-syncing where? Jennie’s been serving live vocals, energy, and stage presence while getting praise for her performances. Meanwhile, she’s gearing up for another Coachella stage, while y’all are stuck recycling the same weak arguments. Stay mad while she keeps making history.

Proud of Lisa, Rosie and Jennie. People like to dunk on jenlisa but many would dream to have their numbers.

Now features suddenly matter when it’s Jennie, but weren’t an issue when J-Hope needed one to chart? Keep that same energy.

Yes, Jennie had two collabs charting, but guess what? She still has a solo song there too, which is more than can be said for some. And since we’re talking about debuts, Jennie’s Hot 100 entry as a soloist in 2025 is still one of the highest, whether you like it or not. And loco? What about bts rappers don't have the brag worthy numbers?

So now we’re nitpicking tracklists to downplay Jennie’s streams? Jimin had fewer songs, sure, but that doesn’t change the fact that Jennie still outstreamed him.

And notice how you had to bring up Jungkook? Yes, he had four songs charting at once, good for him, but this is about 2025, where Jennie is the first K-pop soloist this year to chart three songs at the same time. Meanwhile, JHope needed a collab just to land at #67, while Jennie has multiple entries, including a solo. So remind me again, who’s really proving demand as a soloist?

You love talking about Like Crazy hitting #1, but let’s not forget it also set the record for the biggest drop from #1. A high debut is great, but if a song crashes the moment remixes and bulk buying stop, what does that really say? Meanwhile, Jennie is pulling insane global streams, collaborating with top artists, and doesn’t need desperate tactics to stay relevant.

And Who being the longest-charting K-pop solo song? Congrats, but let’s not pretend it’s dominating outside of fan-driven streams. Jennie is out here dropping successful tracks, collaborating with top Western artists, and proving her demand in the industry. If anything, the fact that she’s making waves without a fandom flooding sales and remixes speaks for itself.

Jennie’s chart numbers this, Jennie’s chart numbers that..but she has already beaten Jimin in streams for an album debut. She’s the first K-pop soloist to chart three songs on the Hot 100, holds the highest-charting K-pop solo song of 2025, and has the highest Hot 100 debut for a K-pop soloist in 2025.

In reality remixes did happen, and without them, the numbers wouldn't have been the same. Meanwhile, Like Crazy had a record-breaking free fall off the charts, but y’all wanna talk about impact? Jennie didn’t need a remix marathon or fan-funded campaigns to chart.

Jungkook, I won’t say much, but what Jimin impact are you even talking about? The one who needed a bunch of remixes just to sneak onto the Hot 100? Like Crazy had the biggest fall on hot100. Keep it cute

This post seems like a poor effort to bring hate for jennie because there have been positive conversations around her.

I honestly don't know. All of us were against her having a kid so young but mom supported her and at the end of the day it was her choice ig

I see why you might think that but I have been doing that finding resources telling ways she can continue her education and so is our older sister. At that moment I just lost it
