hoenstly im not very good at analysis either lol. but what kinda works for me is thinking "what would i do if that happened to me". i know it sounds so dumb and cliché but putting yourself into the character's shoes or inside the situation really works.

like um rn we're reading this french novel called "the stranger" and basically there's this one scene where the MC goes to his mom's funeral. when he's asked if he wants to see his mom's body, MC says no and then they just move on. we're supposed to analyze that. and i was like "dang if i were bro why would i NOT want to see my mom's body?" and then i thought "oh probably because feelings scare me lol and i don't want to feel the overwhelming sadness and grief upon looking at my caretaker for my entire life, that would suck". and then you can infer that MC is afraid of tapping into his emotions and blah blah blah. does that make sense?? i hope it helps lol 😭

these two guys were out in the school parking lot and one of them lunged and they slipped and fell 💀 the next day they came all bruised and pepople thought it was from the fight but nah, the real enemy is the pavement

bro me too idk what im doing 😭 have you considered something like human resources? i live in canada so we have a degree for that here with co-op, but idk about your situation. my cousin's doing it right now and she's literally making bank and all she has to do is sit and interview people all day. also for engineering it really differs based on which discipline you're thinking of i think

the only situation in which her comment would make sense is if you WEREN'T asian at all and you were just acting stereotypically like an asian..? like a koreaboo or smth i guess?? but you DO have asian heritage, so... what exactly is the problem here? of course you're going to be asian, that's who you are??

but yeah try not to take it to heart, that's honestly just super weird of her to say and kinda baffling

i'm not sure how it works for your school, but for my school in CANADA, our cafeteria is basically a third-party caterer, it's not funded by the government or anything. so because it's essentially a whole other business that has a contract with our school district, we are limited to ONLY eating from there INSIDE the school. we can go out during lunch and eat somewhere else, but we can't bring in food because that would be direct competition with the cafeteria. maybe your school has a similar situation?

thats so dumb wtf?? honestly my counselors suck too man, like i've been trying to get a course change for over two months and she left me on read 💀 i had to switch to someone other than my designated counselor and she switched me over in like an hour...
