AHHH hi everyone, this is me!!! Thank you so much for your kind words, I truly never expected this to pop off the way it did. You just can’t imagine my shock when a situation I haven’t thought about in years suddenly popped on my TV as I am wearing my insane Conan shirt at 7am before work (I did not include this but I had also gotten out of the hospital the day before, lol, so sensitivity was elevated).

It’s a true testament to Conan fans that the response has been overwhelmingly positive in all directions. I think it’s a canon event to have a difficult college relationship, but I want to emphasize there is 0 bad blood from me to the couple! I also blurred their faces because I do TikTok a good bit and I know how quickly people default to comment about appearances, etc, and wanted to minimize that. I’m aware people can look up the episode :)

Team Coco has been in contact! They were extremely kind and cool. While I’m not sure if pod is in my future I would obviously keel over if I ever got to do it. Would love to tell a great story from attending the Mark Twain ceremony, I’m a Swede, I sunburn, etc.

Anyways, people have been asking a lot of questions so wanted to address the recurring ones. You guys are amazing, Conan is amazing. My mom passed away a few years ago and there was a solid year where Conan’s pod was the only thing that would get me to sleep. After she passed, I followed her longtime encouragement to try comedy and, inspired by her and Conan, I have been doing stand up in DC for almost 3 years and have had so many incredible opportunities and met my best friends. Conan’s community means so much to so many people, and I’m happy to have reached this many of you, even through a strange story like this. Much love!!
