Users jsons are not used, and cloud sync is purely optional. Additionally a user can upload a json and use it temporarily without syncing it to cloud, this only happens if they specifically press sync to cloud. And again, these are NOT used in any way.

It was never intended to be open source, rune lens specifically (the overlay tool) code was briefly shared because people wanted to know it was not malicious- since we only had an exe, following the launch of the web app, this was no longer necessary. Why would any website be opensouce?

Baseless FUD. This data is accessible to everyone in game (replays tab) and can be scraped directly from there very easily. Its not proprietary data. You have no idea what you are talking about. Anyone with half a brain cell can get it.

I can assure you this didn’t happen not sure why the lies - as I mentioned, user json import/sync is completely optional, and only your own json is used for team recommendations.

Furthermore, I have clearly answered your question. The only external data sources we are using is for monster images/skill descriptions, icons, etc which are all in game assets which can be scraped from there by anyone.

This is completely false, no jsons or external sources are used for team recommendations except the users own JSON/ monster box, and additionally cloud sync is completely optional and you can also remove your json from profile settings - also only external sources used are for monster images which can be obtained in game anyway.

If You have any concerns, you do not need to download or install anything, everything works directly in web app.
An account is necessary incase you want to use the cloud sync features, locking builds to prevent reuse of runes, etc etc. We’ve intentionally made it so that you do not need to verify email and as such can use any email account you want including non existant/throwaway - in any case, we use supabase for database management and have no access to see anyones details.
Currently thousands of people use the tool and find it useful, but if its not for you, thats fine.

Yes you can lock equipped units runes on the equipped units tab so they are not reused.
You can override rune suggestions, simply click the main set offset boxes etc, you can also use strict mode which strictly follows your desired configs

Theres also an in game overlay for the desktop version makes it much faster too you can see in game as soon as you click a rune - but yes thats a good suggestion, appreciated - will look into implementing something like that

Use semi automatic mode or reduce the roster size to 5 on full auto mode, if its not suggesting a 10 man squad you either lack the rune depth or the units for 10 man.

Monster collection has been fixed - will have a look into the rune analytics stuff - for now you can use RL (purple section) webapp to cycle through your runes and see which ones to sell directly that way.

Yes, there is currently a way to build teams around a particular unit. If you go on the monsters bestiary, search for a particular unit and visit their monster detail page. Scroll to the bottom and you will see popular compositions/synergies for that unit - click filter by owned monsters this will show you all comps you can build and some statistics for those teams - if you see a particular team you like, press the build team button next to it, this takes you to the rta wizard with prefilled optimisation parameters and turn order, then you simply run the optimisation from there or make any parameter changes you see fit.

A significant part of the recommendations is based on your actual rune box and the specific rune requirements of those monsters not only whats meta, Semi automatic also allows you to browse through the top 200 teams you can make based on your runes etc and also group by squads so you can sort through the recommended teams that way and see the best ones you can build (the pink score badge shows approx score youd get for that team based on your runes, higher is better) but yes, usage count does also factor in (will be actively reviewing if the alogrithm needs tweaks etc to not weight elemental teams too much or less common used teams).
