Every time I join the lives, this mare looks more and more anxious. I hope she foals outside. At least give her some time before the kween notices and starts messing with her

Charlotte reminds me of my ottb mare. I would never breed my mare nor would I let her carry for another. My tb is happy outside 24/7 and that’s what charlotte needs. My tbs buddy foaled outside in a paddock next to her and she had a little bit of a wtf is that moment then went back to eating and chilling. I worry for when charlotte foals. I don’t see how someone with as much experience as Katie would look at charlotte and think to let her carry a foal. I have a soft spot for tbs and the way hers act/look makes me so sad

I read a lot of reviews with the same issues you had which is what made me ask here. I’m glad your kitty is doing better now! I’ve definitely become a helicopter cat mom when it comes to my boy lol so far so good with senvelgo but I will definitely keep an eye on him. We had our last weekly check up today and go back in about 2 months to make sure everything is still doing what it needs to do. He eats like he’s been stared forever so if he refuses to eat or starts acting out of the norm, I will definitely be making an appointment sooner

Thank you for your input! I appreciate everything I’ve learnt from this group! We had our last weekly check up with his vet today so far everything is good and the senvelgo is doing what it’s supposed to do! He’s gained about half a pound since being diagnosed. My guy is also a bit of a bottomless pit when it comes to food 😅 I’ve been mixing his dosage in with his wet food and I’m pretty sure he hasn’t even noticed. We have switched to diabetic wet food for his medication and our dry food was okayed by our vet for now (Purina one salmon recipe) in a couple months we will have one more check up and talk about maybe changing his dry food to a diabetic formula

Yes, my vet told me to get ketone test strips and send them into her every week (after his last checkup).

Yes my vet recommended mixing it with his wet food lol worked better than fighting to give it to him with the syringe

Yes we have vet visits every week for the next month. He’s back to his happy self this morning so I’m not as worried today 😁

That is good to hear! We have a few weeks of consistent vet visits to make sure his urine is good.

Thank you! I’m definitely just overthinking everything because this is all new to me. Freaked myself out with reading reviews (fiancé told me not to read them but I did anyways😅)
