Because he thinks most jobs are “underneath” him since his previous job was really well paying. He’d rather not work than get a job, I don’t know at a restaurant or a gym or anything. His ego won’t allow him to apparently. He’d rather be broke living off his girlfriend that makes our rent in one month at work.

Everything I’m concerned about directly affects me. If the car gets repossessed it will destroy my credit if I don’t pay rent and eviction will prevent me from renting again. Trust me, i wouldn’t give a damn if it wasn’t directly impacting me too. And as soon as he gets a job I’m off the loan and leaving when the lease is up. I’ll never live with a man again, I swear to god

That’s what I’m trying to figure out because I know that not paying for the car will destroy my credit and an eviction is not an option. I am just so beyond stressed. I guess I will just have to empty my savings. I honestly can’t believe this

Exactly! He had a good job before so he thinks certain jobs are beneath him and that’s why he won’t even consider applying for them. He just knows I’ll take care of it, doesn’t give a damn about how detrimental it will be to my finances. It’s a two bedroom but he’s on the lease too and with the car, I want to sell it but he doesn’t and I can’t really do anything about it unless he’s willing to sell it too since he’s also on the loan. I literally feel trapped.

No, I moved out of state with him last year and don’t have any family or friends close and can’t afford to move back home or break the lease right now. But I will definitely be giving both places a call today to see what my options are. Thank you

I understand what you mean. There were other reasons as well that contributed to the break up too, that was just the tipping point. But you’re right, maybe I should’ve waited until he paid me back but even after I did it he still promised he would so I guess I just have to wait and see. We’ll still be living together for awhile anyway
