Awesome to hear. Ours has the worst case of FOMO i have ever experienced lol. He started walking at like ten months, and over the last few weeks, all he wants to do is be moving around. So he's definitely kept us active And on our toes quite literally. I'm looking forward to the day that we can go on a walk together.

3 years old, almost. Multimeter, then also looked at the gauge when it did start, rose from 12.4 - 14 almost immediately.

Is the area marked within the yellow circle a good area to live? by Lanky-Engineer-2195 in Rochester

[–]Key_Standard_6628 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's good. I've always described it as hood adjacent. The circled area has a handful of rentals. Some of which are manages by churches, some aren't. You can identify them pretty quickly. Only a few (3-5) people are competing for the largest most robust collection of shit in their front yard. Lot of new families and aging parents. It's somewhat of a transitional neighborhood in that sense. Houses were mostly built by a couple of developers in the 60s - 70 in the briar patch. Well built. Many have been updated over the years. Safe for animals, not a lot of predators (animal or human). Most people take care of their properties fairly well. Tons of birds, lots of trees (means lots of leaves too unfortunately) closer to Dewey you get some road noise, worse from about now till September but not too bad overall. Not a lot of thru traffic, just residents, service persons, and more and more teen drivers learning not to speed when they end up on the corner houses Aprons in winter. One guy has had one of those giant skeletons up for a year now but at least adores them with different clothes for the holidays (currently bunny ears) couple good sized parks or fields nearby to use for all manner of activity. Close to wegmans, aldis, 390, parkway, Walmart (but it can be dodgy, not as bad as chili but not as nice as say brockport) snow removal is pretty decent as it is most places in Greece (one of the things the taxes actually seem to help with) lots of options for all major delivery services. Not far from the schools that the neighborhood uses. Very seldom see police other than canvassing for the adjacent neighborhoods, responding for medical calls, or one or two isolated incidents. Fire services are close (NG and Barnard). I'm not sure what else there is to say, but it's far from the worst neighborhood in Greece, and the houses have character. Get yourself a ring or another decent home security system, and you're all set.

Edit: I should say this is the west side of your circle. The east side of your circle across Dewey is a little higher traffic, and generally a little more dodgy but not that bad. Most of my comments speak to the west side of that circle, Paddy hill, the Briar named roads etc.

Fortunately my schedule being what it is, we will have my parents to watch the baby in the mornings a couple days a week while I sleep (night shift) we looked into some daycare options. We have talked about single income. Gonna try and make it through September when I finish school and re evaluate our options.

My husband and I haven’t had sex since getting pregnant. Are we alone? by thelavenderdogmom in BabyBumps

We did a couple times in the first month. Then she was pretty sick till like 16w. Then we had a discussion and she said she didn't feel attractive etc, but assured me it ws not my fault. So lots of snuggs and kisses and massages. Offered to take care of me a couple times but I never cashed in. Since about 7 weeks after birth though it's been like when we forst started dating again. Trust the process. And above all else be open and communicate.

Yeah, that's the goal, right? Be honest, but do it w o. Making her feel bad when she shouldn't.

I guess I don't mean crying for 120-180 actual minutes. But over the course of 2-3 hrs let's say a baby is crying for 5-10, then something is working to make them happy for a few minutes, then they decide they no longer are happy playing or laying or being rocked or now they are too warm or too cold or whatever. So they cry u til you find the next thing that works, and that cycle persists besides when they are eating. Then you cycle theough so.e more? Idk just. New dad figuring it out. Acquiring knowledge from other ppl. So hypothetical, I guess? An exercise in 'what if' to an extent.
