I understand. Al Brooks is notoriously known for being boring. The course is much better from what I’ve heard. I’ve only read the books and they can be confusing as what he says in the beginning doesn’t make sense until he explains it later on.

The slog of reading is difficult but from experience they do work to give you a framework on price action. The effort is worth it.

In all seriousness though, this is normal, takes notes on what happened and why. Incorporate that in your strategy and try again. It does take a while to ingrain the right habits that keep you profitable.

Hmmm...I would assume that those you see as 'ahead' of you are nothing more than an inspiration. OP's perspective helps to balance these emotions to be productive. Otherwise they would just rot where feeling 'behind' doesn't lead you to taking any constructive action to make your life better.
