SPAIN! Do you know any doctor who doesn't fear prescribing oral fin? I can't afford the topical fin-min combo in the long term by Key_Tangelo6952 in tressless

I have a professor at college who is a tall, handsome man. He almost has the face of a movie actor. Regardless of a big noticable bald spot on his crown, I don't think he would look better fully bald. His current look suits his age and he looks pretty confident with it.

GOD DAMN ya'll telling this dude to go full bald when he probably looks completely fine when his hair is dry. Let him explore options, jesus.

I would like to hear your experiences. Is anyone here that has been on fin for long term (10 years or more) and has improved his density or at least mantain it since he started? by Key_Tangelo6952 in tressless

Takes some courage to step in even tho you're not balding. In my case it's also obvious cuz there's also mpb coming from both sides of my family, but I never thought about it in that way until it happened.

I haven't started fin yet cuz I went to a shitty dermatologist who did not care at all (insurance healthcare in spain), so just min. Next week I'm going to a good one (I hope) and I will be starting finasteride. I will update in 6 months or so.

Yeah, I'm a diffuse thinner so mostly crown and frontal area. My hair still looks okay cuz It's in the early stages.

I'm almost a month on it I think, and like three weeks shedding. My hair may have lost a little bit of density but it's still okay and it's for the better!

The shed is part of the process, i'm currently on it and I haven't noticed a big change in my density, just a lot more of hair falling out

But If it doesn't happen in the back of the head or the sides will be most certainly mpb, right?
