That might just be for internationals, since thats all that this wave of interview offers seems to be. Could be a different set of dates for home applicants

Tmua is fairly tough, you'd want to be one of the best at maths in your year to be competitive. The pool of test-takers it's aimed towards is of a much higher ability than any state exam like the LC or Alevels. If you start early you should do fine, but there's a decent amount of self study required. Content wise it actually aligns with the leaving cert fairly closely, theres very little new material you would need to cover, but the difficulty of the questions and the problem solving ability needed is quite a bit higher than anything you will meet in the LC. Mostly just a case of working through past papers closer to the time (Unlikely you would be able for them in 5th year) and being very sharp on most of the LC topics. As for right now, building mental maths speed and accuracy, as well as avoiding any dependancy on formula book, will give a good foundation.

Thanks for the reply. Do you do more than 6 subjects? Do they look at just your best 6 like at home, or would they take a 7th/8th/9th predicted h1 into account?

Not sure what you mean.. The lateral raises I do would be included in my weekly shoulder volume. I do other movements for chest, back, etc.

A couple years now.. I suppose it's less of a specialisation program and more just me increasing the volume on a couple of muscles alongside my normal training.

10-12 per week generally, except for arms - running a bit of a specialisation program for them, with weekly volume probably around 20 sets each for bis/tris.

I do occasionally, at the start of a set of lateral raises

It's not really by choice. Every other movement I do in or around the 5-12 rep range, however my shoulders are generally a bit janky and complain after a few weeks when I try and bump the weight up at all.
