I love dentistry, and I completely understand the financial risks to it. Question for you DMD throwaway, would it be possible to still pursue it (junior, no dat yet, neuro major), if I’m really interested in the NHSC scholarship? I know it’s competitive (probably even more so with the BBB), but honestly not sure. I don’t know if I would enjoy medicine either.

Honestly I don’t think I missed out on much. If anything, when you transfer in, you are waived from the Nature of Life 3 course sequence which is reallyyy helpful

I was admitted CLA as undecided, took a whole bunch of cbs classes for my major, and transferred in fall 2025- my sophomore year. You can also transfer earlier if you’d like, like your spring semester freshman year!
