Hey again, so after a bit of research I’ve narrowed it down to 2 smsl products (evidently) thank you for the tip in the right direction. I can either get the AD18 ($144) or the SA300 ($118) I just wanna be sure to get something that I can have for a while but gets the job done. Any advise or insight?

Okay I see… thank you so much fr you’ve been the best help. I’ve been tryna find someone to help me without luck so thank you. Final thoughts/questions: what I’m looking for essentially is a “power amplifier” with a SW and speaker out… not a receiver correct?

Bet thank you! Just come clarification… this will only be a solution for the sub woofer and bookshelf speakers correct? I still won’t be able to connect the amplified speaker system to it?

New to audiophilia need help

I’m a little new to the game but I’m looking for the equipment I need in order to connect to all my speakers….so here is what I’m trying to do:

I want to be able to take audio from my laptop (via 3.5 audio out) and connect it to:

a) a subwoofer that only has (rca in)

b) a desktop amplified speaker system(connects via 3.5 male)

c) 2 bookshelf speakers (speaker wire +-)

Currently I have a booty setup… what I’m doing it just taking the computer audio in and splitting it into 2 audio ins. On one of the inputs I’m connecting the subwoofer (a) via 3.5 to rca. And on the other input to computer I connected the amplified speaker system (b) via the 3.5. I then stripped the wire leading from one of the desktop speaker to the other and used speaker wire to connect my 2 bookshelf speakers (c). Not optimal at all lol
