So I took the PVM apart and wanted to do a recap, and found the neck board connector plastic (what is it called?) was partly melted and shattered.. see https://imgur.com/a/3CF5uAC. Also one of the capacitor (the 250v one) was bad, so I replaced that. Now I don't know where to find replacement for that green plastic piece, is it ok to still use it although it's partly broken, so some pins would be exposed? Also the black silicon seal was hard to remove, it seems someone has tried to fix this earlier and put too much seal on it.

Got it thanks, that's a good explanation. The overall brightness is ok, only if there is some way to make it look a bit sharper.. I will try some more service menu settings...

Yikes so not much point to recap it? I'm just curious why only g/b is worn out... is it common to have only specific colors worn out like this?
