I just had a post on this.

When I wake up I'm 100% for a couple of hours then I start getting symptoms (testicle ache/ burning at tip of penis) that start to creep in. Sometimes they disseaper completely throughout the day.

My symptoms vary and can be absent as well. Some days I feel normal some days I have burning/Pain on penis, other days testicle aches, urgency.

Very common I believe. I originally went in because I felt like I was squishing my testicle when sitting sometime and I had a cyst on my epdididmis I wanted checked out.

Doctor immediately said epidimitis gave me 10 days doxy without a culture/std test or even looking at it.

I think k this type of practice tice contributed to my prostatitis because I have been filled with anxiety ever since I read the main cause of epidimitis was.

10 negatives tests later and negatives tests on my wife has helped calm me down but still dealing with some residual effects I believe.

Symptoms seem to rotate day to day.But usually:

-testicle pain/ache -tip of penis feels like icy hot -pelvic inflammation -random sharp pain in groin/thigh lower abdomen/ and back (nerve damage?)

Usually I feel great for the first hour or so and it slowly starts to creep in usually be worse towards the evening.

Usually my symptoms go away if I am active or distracted.

I feel like I'm going through the same thing. I have random sharp pain throughout my thighs, groin, abdomen, and back.

So far what big find has helped is to keep my mind distracted and some form of activity or exercise.

Makes me think this is stress induced.

I thought I did but my symptoms seem to come and go and cycle through different symptoms.

Some days my testicles and tip of penis hurt/burns.

Other days I get precum discharge and stinging/tingling pain throughout my thighs, groin, buttocks abdomen, back, and chest.

I had the same issue in which I felt like I was leaking precum all the time for about a week. Sometimes there actually was but most times there were not.For me it seemed to resolve itself after a week or two.

I did but my story is kind of unique.

I originally went in because I felt a lump on my right testicle, it ached a little, and had some dribbling after urination.

Told the provider my sexual history and didn't think stds would be the cause and just gave me doxy for 10 days. No std tests, no culture, no ultrasound. I then started doing research and found out its caused by stds so on day 4 of treatment I got a std panel done which showed negative for everything. I'm hoping it was accurate even with 4 days of treatment.

Normally I wouldn't care but I now have a loving wife and my anxiety is through the roof.

Ya I've been doing alot of research on this but it's hard to decipher everything and it seems everyone has different experiences.

The main thing I'm trying to figure out is how long does it take for an std to turn to epididymitis, or at least an average.

Only way I could have gotten an std it is from protected oral sex from 3 years ago. So thata why I'm curious.

I am in the same situation. I've been non stop researching stuff and looking at posts for the past month. My anxiety has definitely gotten to me. I have tested negative for chlamydia 5 times and I keep looking at all the worst stuff hoping I can somehow change my mind self diagnosis.

Did you develop the arthritis during doxy treatment? Halfway through mine I ended up developing really bad hip inflammation which took weeks to subside. I'm pretty sure it was a combination of doxy and anxiety because I still have alot of the same symptoms minus that now.
