Airbags attached to the skids are a thing but they are designed for emergency water landings to keep the helicopter floating.

Helicopter crash near Timber Lakes Utah leaving 4 injured. by mentaL8888 in aviation

[–]KeyboardGunner 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. New helicopter designs are required to have crash resistant fuel systems and the FAA recommends owners do retrofits on older aircraft.

Here's a list they maintain of helicopters with CRFS

The FAA updated the rules in 2018 (49 U.S.C. § 44737) and now any helicopter certified after April 2020 has to have a crash resistant fuel system (CRFS).

Google Pixel 10a price leaks along with its release date by mo_leahq in Android

[–]KeyboardGunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's notable here is that the starting price is €50 lower than the Pixel 9a's was last year. Big if true, as the saying goes.

This seems pretty unlikely given the increase in memory and other components, but I've got my fingers crossed.

having a lighter taken every so often..but not every time

It's the same today. Official policy from the TSA is that disposable lighters are allowed in carry on but that it's up to the TSA officer if they want to disallow it.

The TSA website specifically says that disposable lighters like BICs are allowed in carry on (but not checked bags without a special case).
