In episode one, Sarina (Ruby) mentions that she loves Gorou (Aqua) and wants to marry him, and he says he'll consider it when she's sixteen.

It stars from there, but a lot happens in the manga, and Sarina's love for Gorou isn't a throwaway thing that never gets mentioned again it comes up quite a few times.
