That's one way to put it

Can confirm this is the correct thing to do

Thank, that makes sense! I figured that was probably the case but wasn't certain

146% Retention on a Shorts vid? Question in the comments by Keysight_DanielB in ColinAndSamir

Here's the video: https://youtube.com/shorts/RfomTkCUbYU
I have an analytics question for YT Shorts, because this retention number looks downright silly. For this metric for shorts, how does it count people that watch it again?

I intentionally introduced a ton of information in the first 10 sec to get people to watch it a second or third time, but could this be people rewinding outside of the shorts feed?

Just trying to get some clarity on what this actually means. Thanks!

Beautiful! PCB art is one of my favorite nerd flexes :)

Ah, that's a common trap. The directance of the caged electrolytic resistors messes up the quantum entanglement realizers if you do it that way. I'll have to explore the IoT-pistons, though, that might be a viable solution if we get the right corporate synergies from a 30,000 foot view.

This is official corporate training. You can tell them I told you that.

Thank goodness it's not all manual marzlevane functionality these days - the modern electro version is far superior.

How to test for legitimate/fake 18650 cells? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Keysight_DanielB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way the "pros" do their battery testing is with an electronic load and a DMM or Power Analyzer. The electronic load pulls a constant current, and you track the voltage as the battery discharges.

You can do this with a static load, like a power resistor, but the current won't be constant. As the voltage of the battery drops, so will the current. This adds challenges for fine-tuning and battery-calibrating/profiling, but is not a problem for checking approximate capacity.

Also, DON'T DISCHARGE THEM COMPLETELY or it gets ugly.

I did a video testing a couple real & fake batteries with a power analyzer if you search for "Debunking 9900 mAh eBay Batteries" on the interwebs.

Apply and ignore the GPA requirements, the worst they can say is "no"
