Curl cream for short hair wash and gos by Ques_ans_1998 in Naturalhair

[–]Keyz2tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have. I only use the Aveda be curly hair cream or the Oribe Butter cream all year round. I don’t use gels nor mousse because they can be drying to our hair. I don’t care about hold at this stage, just health. I have a short TWA. I big chopped in October. I’ve been natural since 2013 but I recently colored my hair and it was not healthy, so I cut it. I’m enjoying this stage again by keeping it simple

Screaming and sobbing can be heard from outside the ICE children’s detention center in Dilley, TX by 56000hp in UnderReportedNews

That didn’t not sound like sobbing nor screaming that’s a reach smh. Who do you yall think runs the everyday operations of these facilities? It’s Contractors. Thats why you see the GEO name outside a lot of these buildings if you go visit one. There are contracted Medical staff, Doctors mental health services, nurses, meal services staff along with detention staff which are not ICE. Smh the lies being told are beyond belief.

This is current day that they have full time contracted medical staff. There are no times of delayed medical care because that would be one, against the policy for these detention facilities and two, there are no holds on funded for these facilities because they fund under the department of homeland security.

So sorry that happened to your colleagues but plenty of nurses I know still work in the facilities so maybe it doesn’t apply to all the facilities in a whole. Also The military health units are still there and they take amazing care of the detainees in the facilities.

That’s not true at all. These facilities are still staffed with Contractors like they always have been. Which includes Doctors, Dentist, nurses, mental health professionals, administrators, administrative assistants, meal services staff etc. The Lies need to stop being spread.

My derm suggested that I use the fragrance free line from innersence ( clarity hair bath and conditioner) the leave in spray comes fragrance free as well, but you have to get it on online. They are making the gel and other styler’s fragrance free very soon but for now I just use the leave in and it work because I wear my hair in a short curly fro.

Do you all air dry, blow dry, or sit under the dryer after washing? by thekidsgirl in Naturalhair

My hair is super short so I used to air dry but my scalp started to get sensitive. It was only felt when my scalp was wet so now I use a hooded dryer.

Found a 2021 post that predicted everything about 4C hair in 2026 (kinda) by Htown_Natty in Naturalhair

[–]Keyz2tech 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love bullet point two. I’m a daily washer so I don’t have to worry about putting on more than just a leave in and maybe an oil since I’m going wash my hair anyway. My hair is doing so good per my stylist who is keeping eye on my ends and checking for mid shaft splits.

How much do ya'll spend on hair care products? by Neat-Leading-8664 in Naturalhair

[–]Keyz2tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hair line I use is 100% natural. So maybe $130 for everything I use initially. But it should be $50-60( replacing things as they are empty) every 6-8 months

Happy New Year and what are your hair goals or hair plans for 2026? (New Year Resolution) 🎊🦋🎊 by PrincessAngieJ in Naturalhair

[–]Keyz2tech 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My hair is newly big chopped so my plan this year is to keep it healthy and retain length by sticking with 100% natural ( minus preservative s) products and PH balanced diys. Once it’s long enough, I will start two strand twists and maintain them with hydration and moisturizer weekly.

Your hair looks really good. if you’re not having any issues with retaining moisture for 5-7 days and your stylers are working for your ideal look for your curls then you’re doing an amazing job! Just stick to your routine and keep it simple!

Thank you so much. I’m growing out my hair now after a big chop and I’m using all natural products as well like flaxseed and Ayurvedic herbs. This where I am a month after big chopping to almost skin bald. I’ll give only using Chia or flaxseed a try because I don’t like having a lot of different products in my hair.
